Guest guest
Can be any ware from 35 mins to an hour - count on 45 mins minimum _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Caroline Sent: Saturday, May 03, 2008 10:21 AM Subject: [Fwd: Traffic from LAX] We are getting into LAX sometime in the early evening (like 5 or 6 pm) on Thursday the night before our appointment with Dr. Goldberg. I know that will be crazy in terms of traffic. Are we totally crazy to get in at that time. My husband is trying to work part of the day on Thursday which means we can't leave SF until a 4:30 plane at the earliest. I am very unfamiliar with the LA area but know the traffic is terrible. Can anyone tell me the average time it would take for us to get to the Tarzana area from LAX during rush hour. We are going at the Staybridge Inn in Chatsworth from LAX. I know there is constantly traffic. How early or late would we need to leave be driving to avoid the height of the rush hour traffic. Guest guest
Yes it can be. Its closer and from there you are most likely to avoid the main traffic bottlenecks. Its a smaller airport, no aerobridge, and if you're going to Chatsworth it will take 10 - 15 to the 405 north then another 5 - 10 mins to the 118 west and then about 10 - 15 along the 118 west to Topanga Canyon Blvd, then down the hill to Chatsworth at Lassen St. where Staybridge is. Alternatively, you can stay on the surface streets from Burbank - say along Victory Blvd, follow it all the way across the valley to any major cross street, then make you're way up to Lassen - look at Google maps and use the zoom feature and you will see what I mean - you will travel 30 - 40 most of the time and keep moving. _____ From: [mailto: ] On Behalf Of Caroline Sent: Monday, May 05, 2008 10:02 AM Subject: Re: [Fwd: Traffic from LAX] Is Burbank airport better to fly into if we can get a flight there???
