Guest guest
Hey all, Just wanted to chime in that we go to see Dr. G every year and we stay in Anaheim and commute to Tarzana/Woodland Hills. We never had to drive 6 hours. We ask for the first appt of the day (around 10:30 or so) so maybe the traffic isn't as bad that time of day? We go in the Spring so maybe the traffic is different/worse during higher tourist times? We'd eat breakfast at the hotel and then start driving. It usually takes us 2 to 2 1/2 hours from Disneyland. Still much much longer than mapquest will tell you, but not so bad as 6 hours, at least in our experience. April Where to stay? > >We are going to see Dr. Goldberg on May 23rd. Guest guest
We live in RPV and it usually takes us about 1 hour (if lots of traffic or an accident maybe 2 hours). If we get a late appointment it usually takes longer on the return trip because of rush hour traffic. Guest guest
We stayed in Anaheim 2 different times, both in January. The last trip we took though, we booked our appointment with Dr G on the last day of our trip and got a late day appointment. So we checked out of Ananheim and moved to a Burbank hotel. We then flew out of Burbank the next day. We had the commute from Orange County to Dr G, but then drove to Burbank from there and it was less driving in all. Guest guest
regarding the postings on trfc in the Anaheim/Tarzana area - do you folks know the back roads? We usually use the I-5, 405 .... whatever main routes GPS will give us. Or you guys must fly :-) LAX to San Diego took us 3 hrs (at least)-that was between 11am and 4pm San Diego to Chatsworth, Wed - we started at 9am and arrived around 1230pm Anaheim to Chatsworth, Thurs at 10am, took us 2hrs Anaheim to Woodland Hills, Thur, around 2pm, took us 5 hrs. We had an appt with Dr Suzi at 4pm. <sigh> we never made it ... and we didn't have a cell phone at the time. Coming back, 730pm, took us 3 hrs to reach Anaheim. oh and Chatsworth to LAX, Tues around 630am, took us almost 2 hrs. We do use the car pool lane when we can. doris -maryland
Guest guest
If someone was stuck in traffic for 6 hours I'm sure there was a major accident on the road or something. Guest guest
i may have missed something, but who is Doctor Goldberg?? I'm looking for a great DAN doctor or immunologist for my son. My son was diagnosed with austism spectrum disorder a year ago and I feel the gut/immune area is a major key in our recovery. He is almost five and doing amazing. He has some yeast overgrowth and I want to concentrate on getting his immune system back on track and healing his gut if need be. I had lots of tests run and am waiting the results. The last doctor that requested the labs was nice, but I left with missing test kits that I needed and the office seemed disorganized. It was not worth the drive or money as he spent most of the time asking how my son was doing so well and wanted to know the supplements I was using, what I did, etc. I'm happy about that but not when that was added into my visit and I was billed for it. I live in the Encino area and am very close to Tarzana so if you know some amazing doctors in this area, please let me know. Thanks! dawn PLEASE NOTE THAT MY EMAIL ADDRESS HAS CHANGED TO... dawndolan@... Where to stay? > > > > >We are going to see Dr. Goldberg on May 23rd. Guest guest
Hi Dawn, Dr. Goldberg is in Tarzana, and he is the only (Neuro Immune Dysfunction Syndrome) doctor in California. He is definitely not a DAN! doctor. If you want to know about you can go to his website at www.neuroimmunedr.com Best of luck.
