Joyce, The nut case in the ER determained that I am in CHF with a scan of some type I think they called it a Neuculear Scan under contrast. It took them about 30 to 45 mins to get an IV going and about 8 sticks. He finally went in in the middle of my wrist. Hurt like heck. When the doc gave me the choice of staying or going home I said I would go home. My O2 sats kept going up and down. They would be 100 and then in the low 80's and then back up in the low 90's. He gave me IV Lasix and sent me home. Lasix still hasn't worked like he said it would. He really made me mad and then the nurse came in and said they were going to do a breathing treatment because he ordered it. I was a basket case from that treatment when they were finished. I was shaking so bad that my husband had to hold me up and hold my limbs still for me. Their reply was like oh well that happens sometimes. I will never again go to my local ER unless they are taking via ambulance. My Pulmo had warned me about them but I didn't listen. I didn't think any ER could be that bad, but I will for sure listen next time.
