Guest guest
Okay, here's the short version of the difference between DAN and . DAN focuses mostly on metabolic (and before someone jumps in to say otherwise, yes, I know DAN is getting more into immune but it's still very new to them and many of them aren't very knowledgeable about it yet) and focuses solely on immune. Dr. G believes that any metabolic issues are secondary to immune issues. Treat the immune issues and the metabolic issues will resolve naturally. That's it in a *very* small nutshell. Guest guest
We are new to nids. I think it best fits my son and I do not believe his issues are metabolic, but more along the theroy of as his causation. But some will say that the whole " gut " approach of DAN is immune based. The rationale for this is that the gut is the beginning for an immune response and also the largest organ for immunity. The belief therefore is that the approach really does target immune issues and deals with things like yeast, etc. and this should be the beginning point. Just wondering if anyone has a response to this? Angie Cheryl Lowrance <c.lowrance@...> wrote: Okay, here's the short version of the difference between DAN and .
