Guest guest
, About two and half years ago I was diagnosed with colon cancer. I had surgery and they removed 3 to 4 ft. of my colon. After the surgery they started me on chemo. I got very ill from this and was almost hospitalized. So I quit the chemo. After about six months a cat scan revealed that it had spread into my abdomen - the tumor involved my spleen, small intestine, pancreas and stomach. The surgeon was going to remove my spleen, part of my pancreas, also part of my small intestine. The surgeon told me that he did not think he had enough of a margin in my stomach. But hoped that radiation and chemo would shrink the tumor (stage four) enough to do the surgery. Well, before I started the treatments, my daughter wanted me to start taking Transfer Factor. She had to talk me into it. Thank goodness, I listened to her. I took 35 radiation treatments, and the chemo was xeloda 2000 mg twice a day. I also took six Transfor Factor a day. After the treatments they took a cat scan to map the surgery and to the surprise of the surgeon the tumor was gone. No more tumor . He was amazed and did not know what to say. He told me he never saw this before. He was generally very surprised by this. He told me that there was nothing to take out!! So for the last year and a half they just give me a cat scan every 4 months. I still take 3 Transfor Factors a day. I didn't do much of anything else. I had no diet so to speak of other that I saw food and ate it .When I was going though the radiation and chemo I never felt sick and I gained weight - to the surprised of everyone. Hope this helps. What additional herbs and supplements are you using besides Transfer Factor? Are you also following a nutritional protocol? How high is your CA19.9 tumor marker? Guest guest
transfer factor is basically cow colustrum and its supposed to help regulate the immune system -- his doc thought, because he's had mild asthma (now gone) and rashes (also rare now) that he might have an overactive immune system. Guest guest
It is good stuff. I have used it with my daughter. Wakefeild is doing a study in co-operation with 4Life. It means quite a bit of transfer factor....at no cost, for accepted families. It is a study though...so some hoops to jump through. Guest guest
I would like information. I looked into Transfer Factor about a year ago but we had to do a med change so didn't try it. I like to give the med changes a long perios of time without other changes added. Now would be a good time for us. Deanne Debbie Graves wrote: > It is good stuff. I have used it with my daughter. Guest guest
sorry it took so long to reply. to try to make a long story short ..she ended up with a temp of about 105 for the better part of a day...then she was sick to her tummy for half of the next day with a small fever. i did not try to reduce the fever. She came out of it much " clearer " then before. She had much better articulation and could speak more clearly. i am not really sure what happened...but it " chased " something out of her...without a doubt! deb --- larsin <larsin@...> wrote: > What kind of improvements did you see? > Diane > Re: transfer factor > > > It is good stuff. Guest guest
I have had my 5 yo on transfer factor for kids for about a month now, nothing to speak of as of yet cept shes more hyper. Shes a tough case. Not autistic (they keep saying) but I thought kids with such delays as hers would still fall into that " label " Heck shes got so much going on that the school district is still trying to figure out where to place her next year for the big K. lol I am looking into homeschooling with therapist coming to my home. Or maybe a private school. August is coming up fast and I would loveeee to get her into a " normal " school setting by then. I do have a ton of questions, and will post again tonight. Maybe one of you mothers can help. I have just been reading on the net like wild and the groups to see whats working with other kids and trying that. I have 2 full big baskets of products I have tried with her. We get somewhere, then backfall and I wait another few weeks on the products before I move on to try soemthing else. Thank you all for being here for all us mothers TRYING to help our children. *~*~*~*~*~*~*~* Lena *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*

Guest guest
Hi Jim, The study shows that Transfer Factor Plus Advanced Formula can increase Natural Killer Cells' (A part of white blood cells) activity upto 437%, which strengthen your immune system. You can access to those test results from http://www.indigoworld.com.au/healthissues-eng.htm by requesting the report under the " Cancer " category. They have information about what transfer factors can do to your immune system at http://www.indigoworld.com.au/information-eng.htm and talk about transfer factor science at http://www.indigoworld.com.au/information-eng5.htm I hope these information would help you to find out what you are looking for... Guest guest
Hi My friend has been taking Transfer Plus Advanced (the most expensive) from Vitality4Life I think it is called. Guest guest
I would surely order a few bottles, with 3 capsules per day, one bottle only lasts about 20 days, and I would like to try some of their other products. Another woman suggested to me to become a distributor, said it cost $25 to become one and you have to guarantee 3 bottles a month being purchased. The discount is quite steep, 25%, so not bad. [ ] Transfer Factor Is there anyone on this list who is a distributor of this stuff and interested in selling it at close to cost plus shipping? Or anyone interested in becoming a distributor for the same reason? Perhaps if a few of us got together and did this there would be $ saved. I'd be willing to commit to a few bottles and forever grateful to anyone who might be able to help.
