Guest guest
My son was on Zovirax for a while and it brought our titers down. But they started to climb back up so we switched back to Valtrex. Yes, you give it 5 times a day and we gave one dose in the morning at home, 2 at school and 2 at home after school. Our progression was Valtrex, Famvir (which didn't seem to do anything but maintain what Valtrex did) and then Zovirax and back to Valtrex. Zovirax was the only thing that brought our titers down but as I said, they've since gone back up. Guest guest
Hi We were on valtrex forever and never got hhv6 under control. Zovirax actually finally did the trick! Numbers have been in the normal range for a while now. 5x a day is kind of tough but hey, we're used to that aren't we? Good luck!
Guest guest
Thanks Cheryl, does Dr G want you to switch back to Zovirax? > > > Hi everyone! > > I think we are going to switch to Zovirax in the coming weeks.
