hi lena,we are seldom around anyone.  we live on the wa coast 4 blocks back from the beach, end of the world on this end.  my kids live in the seattle area and i get to see them every couple of months.  not too far away but with our health and their busy family life, visits aren't as often as i'd like.

my son was going to come out several wks ago and work on our inside trim but canceled because he was sick and didn't want us to be exposed to it.  also my folks, 86 and 90 live next door so he didn't want then getting it either.  but it seems that it went around in their family and the last one was still coughing.  and it's hard to avoid all being in the house in the winter.  

but i never got sick while raising my kids and they had their colds and flu.  my sister gives blood and they said they found a special 'something' (can't remember what they called it) with her immune system.  so we thought that maybe that is why my mom, sisters, and i seldom if every catch anything.  they liked her blood and want her to come back.  

if she has the same blood type as me, i'd like to drain out some of mine and get some of her good stuff.  my dad always felt better after he gave blood.  maybe it thinned it out, or maybe just making new fresh blood did it.  i had heard of a blood cleaning machine somewhere. not sure if it was true, a 'new thing', experimental, a wish list machine or what that could help with bacterial loads--not a regular dialysis machine.  have you ever heard of such a machine.  wouldn't that be something
