Vicky, That is the problem with this disease. So many in the medical profession haven't heard of it and don't know what they are looking at on an x-ray until it is hard to get a decent diagonisis with it. It took me almost 2 years to get anyone to listen to me when I was telling them that I couldn't breath. I had test after test done and was told that I had anything for chronic bronchitis to possibly TB. It took the hard work of a Nurse Practitioner to find out what was wrong. She had been my primary care person for a number of years and knew that I am not one to cry wolf when I am sure that something is wrong. I could tell that is was a releive to the ER doc when I said that I would just go home and wait and call my Pulmo this morning. I am just waiting for his office to open and then I will call. No more visits to the local ER.
