Guest guest
Hi, Joni. How long ago was this? I don't understand why Dr. Uszler refused to even discuss billing our insurance BCBS and yet accepted yours no questions asked. You can understand how frustrating it is; we're out $2,500 on a procedure that should've been covered in full by insurance. He told us he doesn't bother with billing insurance because it rarely pays for spect scans. On a personal note, he was great with our son. Things just fell apart when we tried to get reimbursed by insurance. It is especially frustrating when BCBS tells us that everything would've been covered if Dr. Uszler had just accepted our copay and billed them for the rest. I'm glad to hear you had a good experience. As I said, we had no problems with his treatment--just how we were treated after the procedure. All the best, Robyn Jandjatindy@... wrote: We have had 3 spect scans with Dr. Uszler, and he and his staff could not have done a better job.We had BCBS on the last one, and we only paid a $15 co-pay. He brought out the images and went over them with us in the waiting room, comparing them with the last ones. They also put in a movie for little sis, and turned on a heater for her. I am always stunned to hear negative remarks about him. That is the only place I would go. As a side note, our daughter does not require being put out though, so that may be another story.
