Guest guest
Dr G has always said the methods he uses in are not 'brain science'. It's just good science. My suggestions for those of you starting out who are unable to see Dr G in California: - buy the Mississippi DVD thru the office 1-818-343-1010 I think it's $25 ?? 4 hours long and chuck full of info. - show this DVD to your local pediatrician? What- have an unsupportive pediatrician? Open up the yellow pages and start calling. Most doctors worth their salt will you give you 15 min of their time. This is what I had to do - I hit pay dirt on call #3. Now, my son's local pediatrician admits she doesn't understand the immune side of Autism or the SPECT scans.. but she writes up prescriptions (so that we can mail them off -- paying $35/6 mths of valtrex instead of $200+ a month) and orders the blood draws. She's keeping a 'watchful' eye on what we're doing with thru Dr G. - start pestering your local medical establishments. I pester JHU all the time :-) I also pester a particular doctor at UCLA. Ahh pester is such a strong word. " I have meaningful dialogs with doctors. I pass them any research item I come across. I offer them copies of my son's medical records as well as a copy of the Miss. DVD " - call Dr Bruce or Kathy and see if one of them will talk to your child's doctor. Kathy has traveled as far as Singapore to talk with 's son's doctor. - these are tough times. Monetary and time resources may not be available for you to travel to Calif. But try to get an appt with Dr Bruce or the NNY clinic. You have to start somewhere. Get informed. Visit the and NeuroImmuneDr websites. Read read and read. The bloodsuck information is listed. The SPECT images are there. You are the only one who can help your child... - The group has alot of people with good information. Preview old postings. Get up on the Chat and see what's going on. You aren't going to make a difference letting things come to you. Find other families in your area and network. One voice can make a noise but many voices can bring down a wall. - Review the diet - remove all casein and foods that might cause sensitivies. This is the easiest thing you can do. doris - maryland
