Guest guest
Is she taking any meds? If I don't wash and thoroughly dry the Valtrex my son will have blue lips. It has been going on for the past 6 months at least intermittently but we seem to be seeing it increasingly often and it is lasting for longer periods of time. Any thoughts?? Guest guest
, Check out this link... http://www.pediatricadvice.net/2007/03/blue-lips.html I think the advice on videotaping the episodes is a great idea. On the lighter side, does she eat cold cereal? Could it be the trigger? Look at her nail beds if you haven¹t... do they turn blue as well? If so, photograph that, too. I hope your pediatrician takes this seriously. The fact that it happens in the morning makes me wonder because she¹s just gone from horizontal to vertical and that requires a shift in the body to compensate and keep pumping blood to the heart properly. Is she ever dizzy? Caroline From: Caroline <carrieps@...> Reply-< > Date: Tue, 01 Jul 2008 13:11:25 -0700 < > Subject: Blue Lips Our daugther has very blue lips every morning after breakfast.
