Guest guest
I read on the nids archives that Nizoral has lactose in it. My daughter is about to start it and has a problem with lactose. I wanted to hear how others have handled this or if you think your child reacted to it. Can you get it without lactose??
Guest guest
,In the past I have looked up ingredients on meds via google to see what all was used as filler and/or binder. I think many meds use lactose for this. We have never pinpointed a problem back to lactose per se, but I have wondered about a med not agreeing with my child because of a filler instead of the actual med itself. Give it a try and if things are worse/med is not helping, then switch to something else. > > I read on the nids archives that Nizoral has lactose in it. Guest guest
Sounds like die-off. Be very careful about starting/stopping. If he doesn't seem to be in pain, it should be fine. He's also likely to act like he's sick- like a low grade fever and such. But keep Dr. G updated. - ______________________________________ " You must write for children in the same way as you do for adults, only better. He had been having normal poos for a year. Within 3 days of being on the nizoral he had runny yellow corn looking mushy poos with abdominal discomfort. WE stopped the nizoral for 3 days, and his normal poos returned. We then started the nizoral again yesterday and after his dose his yellow mush poo returned. Die off? > > > Hi All: > Does any one knows about TENEX? what is it used for? side effects? > Thanks > > > >
Guest guest
I agree, sounds like die off. I also agree to be very careful about stopping and starting. You can develop resistance faster by not being consistent with antifungals. We rotate them but we don't rotate quickly. You wait until it stops working before rotating because of resistance. So definitely try to be consisitent. Cheryl ~http://www.gryffins-tail.blogspot.com ~@midian42~ On Jul 2, 2009, at 4:05 AM, C. - Wonderwegian wrote: > > > > Sounds like die-off. Guest guest
Before see Dr. Goldberg i used 21 days of Nizoral with my girl, she had the same reaccion in the poos, and also she looks always tired. I didn´t like it but continue for 21 days. When we went for the consultation i told dr. Goldberg what happened with nizoral, and he told me that this was not die off, and he recomended fluconazole, (much better for her). > > > > > > > Hi All: > > Does any one knows about TENEX? what is it used for? side effects? > > Thanks > > > > > > > > > >
