Anyone Use Prednisone

Hi anyone used prednisone with their kids for Upper resp. infections? I

hate to use it and don't know if Dr. G would in this case. We had

labored breathing,lots of wheezing,and low grade temp. Lungs sound

really congested. We are suppossed to use it for 5 days. He is still

coughing persistently. Thanks for any help, Noel

We used it for brain inflammation. The biggest side effect was weight gain, but

it was not much because of the short duration of the meds.

Hi Noel,

When my daughter gets this, I use Chestal from the health food store. For

her, it has been extremely effective.
