,

I remember when my kid was only 5 and I worried about the meds all the time.

I needed to know I was doing the right thing and not harming my child with

medications. I am here to tell you that has been on an antifungal, an

antiviral and an SSRI since he was almost 5 (or more than 14 years) and

fortunately never had an abnormal blood test. The reason Dr. G does the

blood tests is to catch any problems from meds before they do any damage.

I used to worry was not growing right (he was small for his age until

recently). Now he is almost 6 foot and has no ill effects from the meds.

And yes, he still takes all three. Until the big cure comes along he needs

the meds to normalize his body.

Dr. G once asked me if my child had diabetes would I give him insulin? Of

course this was in the midst of a heated argument in his office about using

SSRI's and me telling Dr. G I don't drug my child. But he was right and I

was wrong. I needed to drug my child to help his body work normally.

I couldn't be more proud of . He is a great person with strong

character and good values. However, making their bodies normal will not

work unless you catch them up on what they missed. They need educational

and behavioral intervention or else the medical stuff only makes them feel

better but doesn't help them become " normal. "

I hope that answers your question. It not just call me and I will answer

anything you want. I also got a call from an who I have been trying

to call back without much luck. I don't think you have an answering

machine. Please call again, I want to talk to you about your situation. Let

me know when it is best to call you if you leave a message.
