HiMy very first CD57 test was in thr 60's range,( probably in 2007)so I dont think that it really is that accurate of a test for lyme or for how the treatment is working.( i got lyme in 2003)I havent been tested for it since though, so I dont know if it has changed over the years.I get a lot of flu like illnesses ( not lyme herxing because others have had the illness and then I get it) Re: I have been on abx for 6 mo. and I haven't seen a difference. Is Posted by: "jimjax2" jimjax2@... jimjax2 Date: Sat Feb 25, 2012 8:33 pm ((PST))Hi ,The CD-57 test is not always that accurate... Unfortunately, like all Lyme tests it is difficultto trust the results unless your health equates to what the results are... Meaning like a readingof 200 and you are feeling better, then I would trust this number.. But a number of 200 and youare much worse, I would not trust it...Here is some help about understanding what these numbers mean...http://www.truthaboutlymedisease.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?f=6 & t=10>>>When the test is run by Labcorp (preferred lab) we want our Lyme patients to test above 60; a normal count is above 200. There generally is some degree of fluctuation of this count over time and the number does not progressively increase as treatment

proceeds. Instead it will remain low until the LB infection is controlled and then it will jump. If the CD-57 count is not in the normal range when a course of antibiotics is ended, then a relapse will almost certainly occur."<<<<Take care,Jim"Im not trying to counsel any of you to do anything

really special, except to dare to think, and to dare to go with the truth ,and to dare to love completely." -R. Buckminster Fuller
