Guest guest
Hi all, Well, after all these years on the protocol, we finally found out that our son has a total IgG deficiency. has recurrent sinus infections and unexplained fevers whenever he's off an antibiotic for more than two days. This has been a constant for many years but due to his complicated history, no one looked into it. ( although I tried to get many physicians at our children's hospital to listen!!!! ) Last week he was worked up for his growth hormone deficiency and acidosis, so my husband added the total IgG and IgA to the lab order. His IgA is o.k. but total IgG is very low as is his Globulin level. Those of you who have children with this problem please email me regarding treatments. Funny, we were about to set up IVIG treatment for PANDAS, I think the bigger picture is unfolding! I'm so glad that we've been on the protocol for so long, as I think this is what saved him. Without the antibiotics, antivirals and antifungals, his immune system would never have been able to fight off infections and viruses. Thanks so much and take care,
