Guest guest
I was also very nervous about the SSRI component and read as much research as I could find. This was several years ago but I can share that most of the really scary difficulties involved their use for depression or at much higher doses than Dr. G uses. Read the studies for its use in OCD and you'll find different outcomes. The thing that helped me the most in being comfortable trying a SSRI was reading about seratonin in general and the symptoms involved in seratonin imbalance. So many of them fit my son's challenges. I am so glad we took the plun ge and tried one because it has made a huge, positive difference for my son. Also, keep in mind that SSRIs do not make the body create more seratonin but rather just keep it in the brain longer. Gaylen **************Gas prices getting you down?
