Has anybody noticed swollen lymph glands after starting Valtrex?

I was wondering if anybody has noticed swollen lymph glands in their

children after starting Valtrex?

We started our son in Valtrex and after two days his right side of his

neck got very swollen. His pediatrician prescribe antibiotics. We

had to stop the Valtrex because my son got the flu pretty bad.

We are going to start the Valtrex again this coming Monday so I would

like to know if the swollen glands could be caused by the Valtrex

working on suppressing any possible virus.

The side of the neck are where the viral glands are. My son's have always been

swollen. After starting Valtrex, it really became prominent and then

disappeared.
