Guest guest
Hi, I was just thinking of posting the same question--Do your kids get yeasty every time you chelate? My daughter has never been better, I mean being delightful, helpful, doing high level math, and writing creatively quite well--- then we chelated and she starting stimming and she had a day of OCD type behavior. This morning--after 4 days and LOTS of anti-yeast stuff (every few hours I give her different things for yeast and repeat) and lots of probiotics (100-140 CFU per day of a variety of probiotics), she is much more herself. I can't bring myself to chelate this weekend again if this is what she is going to be like. I wonder if just ALA alone would be better. We use the ANDY CUTLER protocol (every 3 hours for three days). ANY IDEAS?? Thanks. in Salt Lake City
Guest guest
, just a thought, if your daughter is doing well WITHOUT chelation, maybe you should chelate REEEAALLLLY slow, like 5mg of DMSA and/or ALA? ? > Hi, > > I was just thinking of posting the same question--Do your kids get yeasty > every time you chelate? > My daughter has never been better, I mean being delightful, helpful, doing > high level math, and writing creatively quite well--- then we chelated and > she starting stimming and she had a day of OCD type behavior. Guest guest
Hi > Do people experience a flareup of yeast when they chelate? > > >>>>Not very often now, we are about to start Round 30. I think its because we have got better at keeping it at bay. Very low/no sugar is essential, as are HNI enzymes and getting in quick if any rumblings of a flare. I use GSE for yeast, it keeps yeast away or gets rid of it in just a day or two, sometimes three. http://www.danasview.net/yeast.htm >> I wonder if just ALA alone would be better. Guest guest
This was on another list I'm on.. September's Readers Digest: So called gut bugs, some good, some bad, may be the key to diseases throughout the body, inflammatory bowel disease, and some cancers - according to Scientific American. Imperial College London researcher Nicholson suspects other links to autism, ADHD, and Tourette's: " If you mess around with the gut microbes, you mess around with brain chemistry in major ways. " The gut bacteria of lean people are a promising area of research. For those in search of better gastrointestinal health, ask your doctor about VSL #3. Scientific American says this packet of eight bacterial species, " in double blind, placebo controlled trials...effectively treated ulcerative colitis and irritable bowel syndrome. " Does anyone know what VSL #3 is? Kristy
