Hi, .

I always e-mail my two boys' updates. usually responds within 24

hours. I don't put refill requests on the e-mail. The fastest way is to have

your pharmacy either fax the request or call the office directly. If I call the

pharmacy in the morning, I usually have the kids' meds by the afternoon.

You may want to give a call tomorrow.

All the best,

Robyn

Fellow parents,

Does anyone out there e-mail their updates to Dr. G's office? I usually fax mine

but my dad's fax machine wasn't working on Tuesday so I had to e-mail my son's

update Tuesday afternoon, which included medicine " refills " .

When I called our local pharmacy this evening they still hadn't received the

orders. Plus I haven't gotten my call back from the office yet.

What is the usual turn-around for e-mailed updates? My faxed updates usually got

the medications that day (or the next) to the pharmacy, even if it took 2 days

for a call back.

Thanks,

We've always emailed them and not a problem.ails are gone through at 9am

each day. They are reviewd during the day and at around 4pm replies go out.

If you email after 10am PST then they weill wait till the next day usually.

I email meds requests to the pharmacy and cc. Dr G's office not with the

update - I keep them seperate - and meds are delivered within two - three

days.

I e-mail mine but I've been told specifically not to ask for refills

in the e-mail as they only get checked once a day in the am. You

have to call your refills into the pharmacy or office.

Hi-

I always email our weekly reports on Fridays- some weeks we hear a

response, some weeks we don't. Does anyone who always email them

always receive a response? I feel like sometimes our reports warrant

a response and we don't get one, and then other weeks, it's a 'mild'

week, and we get one. . .just curious what others are experiencing, thanks

Hi Jenn,

I always do my email's Sunday night. I always get a reply by Monday

afternoon sometime. If they don't reply I usually send an email

asking if they received my updates. They're very good about replying,

unless they didn't receive them or they were very busy that day.

Maybe it depends on the day you sent them, some days they're very busy.

I don't always get a response but if you feel you should have one

because you think it's warranted, I would just send in another e-mail

if you don't hear from them in a day and ask if they have any

suggestions for you regarding your last update. They are very

accommodating and will help you out. Or you could just call them and

say you want to follow up on the update since you hadn't heard back.

That's usually the fastest.

So far I've received a response to all my e-mails, but we're in the early stages

of the protocol and there's lots of fine tuning going on.

I got in trouble once for not updating once and told Dr G I did an

update but heard no response. He said I should always receive a response

and if I don't to re-send it. Jerri
