Hi,your comment about merury is intresting and i do feel that metal has a big part to do with healing form lymes and many other illnesses, i did do a chelation iv. it was strong, and so far i didn t go back, but i did get strong hex reactions and a fever with at the time i did not know it was a hex reactions, i did take oral dmsa from europe, super store, i took them for just a week but felt so much better i felt the difference in my thinking and energy right away, i want to continue doing chelation i just have not decided which route to take the safe oral route which takes a long time or iv. i wanted to get rid of the metal as fast as possible i have extremely high lead apparently my mercury is high but not as much as the lead. the test was done before i had my silver taken out of my mouth though so my mercury may be high now to. lead seemed to be my major problem though.DamariseTo: Lyme_and_Rife From: khaya-davidson@...Date: Thu, 26 Jan 2012 01:29:49 +0000Subject: Re: Mercury

Hi & Susie,

I also had all my amalgam fillings removed over a period of about 3 years. And a lot of my problems began after that (1990's). When I went to a holistic physician he immediately tested me for heavy metals and put me on a strong metals-detox protocol. Shortly after that I started having trouble walking and driving. Finally in 2000 I was diagnosed with LD.

I believe having the amalgams removed from so many teeth released mercury into my system, even though precautions were taken. Then the mercury detox released active LD into my system, which I had probably had for years but was mainly under control with a totally sugar-free diet and regular yoga and running. Once I could no longer run and probably with much of the detoxed mercury running through my system, I was a sitting duck for the LD.

Eventually I was introduced to Rosner's book and, through that, Cutler. I studied it, took notes, and gradually crossed things off my list. I ended up with molybdenum, ALA and NAC, and very occasionally a low dose of DMPS for a few days at a time. My last hair sample and challenge tests showed no mercury in my system. I imagine as I kill off LD more mercury is released, but I seem to be keeping up with it now and my doctor says I don't need the DMPS any more at all. So that's what worked for me.

Because I am small and older, all of my doses are compounded in smaller amounts and allergen free. Blue Cross does not seem to like reimbursing for compounded prescriptions but it seems worth it for me. Health care has become our main priority. Anyway, it takes longer to do it with low doses, but the side effects are much more manageable and I like to be able to function. I hope you find what works for you.

I have had hip aching and thigh weakness that has increased. I've felt like I was 80 years old - so stiff that I could hardly bend over. It was becoming difficult to do daily tasks.

The guy described my symptoms exactly and said that he took ALA because of the Cutler protocol for detoxing mercury. I tried it and my symptoms immediately receded. So I decided to start the Cutler protocol. Hit the skids with depression on the third day.
