Hiis it a far infared sauna..i think there is a difference between near and far infa red sauna, the far infared sauna makes you sweat much more i think, i went to a professional clinic they preheated the suana for me and i sweated like crazy, when i went to a near infa red sauana the sauna was not that heated before hand and i also did not sweat. it could be your sauna, also try taking certain herbs before taking the sauna that would make yous sweat like burdock root. or something else that you may know of..i am not sure how the sweat mechanism works in your body and if the thyroid is effecting it, but an md might know and ask him or her to see if that would effect your sweating also. i think its the type of sauna you are using though.DamariseTo: Lyme_and_Rife From: sueblanton@...Date: Thu, 26 Jan 2012 02:30:42 +0000Subject: Re: OT: FIR Sauna

Hi Susie,

I have a suggestion for you. Saunas can be very difficult if you have a lot of toxins as your body becomes sensitive to all of the gunk coming out of your pores. I would suggest you go to Ebay and buy a 635 NM red laser. They are cheap about !4.00. Once you get your laser, go up to Sandi Radomski's site and watch her free video on allergy elimination using the red laser on the ear. Basically it is this simple. You hold what you are clearing in your left hand and the red laser in your right hand you laser both ears, front and back color in every area on the ear.

Some of the things that I did when I was so sensitive was first to collect the sweat from my body into a small glass vial. Your sweat contains all of the toxins, heavy metals etc. coming out of your body. I would then try holding the sweat in a small glass perfume vial or glass jar in your left hand. I would then run the red laser over your ears and see if you feel better. Eliminating the heavy metal allergy and Ammonia which is probably heavily present in you will help you to feel immediately better. The other thing you can do is put your hand in front of the infrared heater and laser both ears, it could be your problem is due to infrared sensitivity. You can also buy vials at Ergopathic resources of heavy metals and IR radiation and Ammonia if you find that easier. www.ergopathics.com.

> Hi All,

> I want to run by my experience with FIR Sauna & get any comments. Last year I bought a FIR Sauna because it was supposed to be good for heavy metal detox (this was before I found out I had lyme). I have both cold & heat intolerance so I was careful to start out slow. The most I ever was able to stay in for was about 20 minutes & the temp never got higher than around 95. I barely broke a sweat ever. Sometimes if I got too hot, I couldn't cool down for a long time after & many times felt faintish during the shower afterwards. I stopped using the sauna after a few months because it was getting increasingly scary for me because my face & head would get real hot & feel like they were going to explode. I tried a few times recently & things got even worse. Now I went in at only 75 degrees & only stayed in for about 12 minutes. But the skin on my arms actually felt like it was burning (the skin was red) & none of my body even got damp from sweat. I want to be able to use the sauna, but being I'm not even sweating don't know if I am even getting any benefit by just being in there for a few minutes. I have autoimmune thyroid & wondered if that could be the reason I can't sweat--because I'm always cold. But since I've become sick, I actually become panicky when I start to sweat. It even used to happen sometimes outdoors when I would get too hot. I don't know why it's happening. Does anybody have similar problems & if so, have you found any solutions to the problem? Any comments would be appreciated. Thanks.
