Guest guest
I'm new to the group and new to ... I can't be sure if my son was born with classic autism or if it was the HepB vaccine within an hour of birth. He was always quite spacy and lacked eye contact, even as a baby, yet he achieved all of his motor skills milestones on time. He would imitate " mama " at 11 months, although he hardly ever babbled. And then he gradually stopped imitating sounds and was absolutely mute. It took over 5 months of ABA therapy to get him to say " ma ma ma " again. So, I can't say that he has regressive autism... makes a lot of sense to me, but I'm wondering if it can help my son. Is there hope for my son if he has classic autism??
