been on Famvir now for about a week anHelp...our son got very sick last night...

Our son has been on Famvir now for about a week and a half. He ahs

been very responding to it very well. He had a runny nose and a couple

days of grouchiness and whining, but other than that, nothing big or

bad...last ight when we put him to bed he seemed king of inclined to

sit up, he didn't want to lay down...tht always worries me sa to acid

reflux since Matt is a kid with BAD cut troubles - think Inflamatory

Bowel Disease bad. We lett him look t books and eventually he fell

asleep about 10 pm...at one am we heard crying. I rushed in and there

was vomit everywhere. My son doesn't eat very much bc everything causes

him so much pain...he ate the same dinner last night sa always two

pieces of chicken...he does not want to eat anything. He is skin and

bones and we are scared to death. Can Famvir make a child nauseous?

Golberg seemst o think that everything will be okay sooner or later,

but our son's gut is such a mess and he looks like a starving child -

other kids with this diagnosis do NOT look like Matt. PLEASE - if

there are any GUT KID parents - please advise us on how and what your

kid could eat and handle...and if this protocol helped or not. Di
