Guest guest
I am in OHIO and we were hit by Hurricane Ike winds on Sunday. There are over 1.5 million people without electricity (including myself) and my kids and I are staying at relatives tonight. I lost a huge tree in the backyard and the other one is ready to give. Thankfully, the kids that were at my son's birthday party were not hurt when the tree fell. It was the most memorable birthday party ever. I really feel for the people that have been without electricity since Saturday and have flooded homes. Take care, Jill

Guest guest
My brother is in Ohio and he too is without electricity. He told me that they are expecting to be without for at least a week. He went to buy a generator to keep his two freezers going and there is not one to be found in a 4 state radius. He ended up renting one. Ironically my mother lives less than a mile from his house and her service has not been interrupted. Of course my mothers place is not big enough for my brother and his family to all sit in the living room but they will be able to shower and cook if they need to.
