Guest guest
My son does well on immunovir, we took him off for 2 weeks, as you are suppossed to take a break, and that's when he got sick. My sons NK cells were 0.. We haven't tested since we began immunovir, probably soon. Sincerely Noel From: <javanfirkins@...> Subject: Question- What has your 'Natural Killer cell activity level' been? Date: Thursday, November 6, 2008, 8:38 PM Hello- I recently had my 'Natural Killer cell count' done, as well as my 'Natural Killer cell activity level' tested. (Aka- NK activity level) All of my numbers were considered 'normal' as they were within range, although they were on the lower side of things. Most notable to me was my Natural Killer cell activity level. 'Normal' range is 8 - 170, and my Result was '10.' It is definitely on the lower end of the 'normal' spectrum, but I was curious what some of your kids readings have been? Also- have many of your children had abnormally low or high levels of 'Natural Killer cell counts?' What about activity level? I'm going to talk to my Neuroimmunologist about Imunovir- Would you mind weighing in on what you all think? I hope your children are doing very well- thanks much, you are all so supportive and helpful with these things. -
Guest guest
Hey - I don't think Dr Goldberg tests NK activity too often. NKs are often low - mine and my youngest are 2% and 3% - my youngest was on the protocol before (at 18 mos) and his NKs were 2or3% at the time, then, too, and they came up to 8% on antivirals. He had to stop the protocol before they went higher. His 'asd' brother's were always in the normal range but he was an HHV6 kid and did very well on the protocol. Sorry I have seen little info on activity levels. ________________________________ From: <javanfirkins@...> Sent: Thursday, November 6, 2008 10:38:45 PM Subject: Question- What has your 'Natural Killer cell activity level' been?
