Guest guest
My son had the same die-off behavior, he was on Nystatin. We started off slow and with 2 times a day. He was extremley agressive and agitated, we actually bumped it up to 4 times a day to get through the die-off faster. Surprisingly it worked well, with the use of charcoal.I would mix the capsules in his juice , when he tired of that I would add it to pudding or applesauce it was a life saver and his reaction was amazing and quiet a relief to us both. Hope this helps. Im am not sure if you have heard of Dr.Bocks book, Healing The New Chilhood Epidemic, he follows the same protocol and is amazing in his feild. He gives great advice on such things. I have read in this book of several patients starting off with too strong a dose and he would back off and lower the dosage only to bump it up again later. Every child is different and so is their reactions , its all about finding what works. I hope your friend finds relief, let me know if I can help. <thecolemans4@...> wrote: Hi all- A friend has a child started on Diflucan, and having a wicked die-off. I was wondering ... I don't think they started out slow. I know Dr G always started at a lower dose ... can't remember how long. I think they've been on it a week now - is it too late to back off a bit and bump it back up again as she feels a touch better? I know tylenol can help too ... I've also heard of charcoal but haven't tried it. We never had negative die-off reactions. TIA,
