Guest guest
Hi Jan, LDN began as a treatment for drug abusers and was found to help all kinds of issues. FDA-approved naltrexone, in a low dose, can boost the immune system — helping those with HIV/AIDS, cancer, autoimmune diseases, central nervous system disorders, and Autism. LDN has actually been used for Autism for years... in an earlier email I listed a few sites for Kristi (whose DAN! dr prescribed LDN for her son). Here they are again: Here are three pretty good sites for more information: http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/ldn_and_ai.htm http://jeffreydach.com/2007/08/01/low-dose-nalotrexone-ldn-by-jeffrey-dach-md.as\ px http://www.low dose naltrexone.org/conf2006.htm (this is from a 2006 LDN conference but the info is relevant and the videos are VERY interesting) There are also several good articles by *Dr. Jacquelyn McCandless*, a pioneer in the use of LDN in treating childhood autism. Here is one of her videos: Rhonda Jan Holland-Beachley wrote: > > Rhonda, > Never heard of naltrexone being used for the diagnosis of autism. > Naltrexone is an “opioid antagonist”, and it is used to reverse the > effects of an opiate drug overdose, for example.
