Guest guest
You want to spend as much time doing it as possible. Every interaction you have can be done in a floortime manner but you should spend a few hours a day at least actively doing it. 20 minutes here, 10 minutes there and it all starts to add up quickly and you don't even realize how much time you're putting in, especially if you treat every interaction - taking a bath, story time, etc. like a floortime session. There is a great group that you might want to join. Just search Floortime and you'll find it. Guest guest
-- Hi Angie, I am a patient of Greenspan. When my child was three we were told to do 8-20 minute sessions a day. We are six now and very high functioning, more I guess you could call it Aspbergers but he did have language delay which does not fit that Diagnoses. Anyway he is in typical Kindergarten with limited help at this point. I am telling you this so you get a feeling of where we are. Any, now I am supposed to do 4- twenty minute sessions a day. We have gotten lazy, I admit, but we do live in a home that is very DIR?floortime based all the time. You typical children will benfit as well if you have any. He is having an early development online course if you are intested. The child with special needs and engaging autism were my bibles. They are wonderful books. - In , angie huiz <angiehuiz@...> wrote: > > Thanks for the information! > Angie > > > > > I was looking at the website on Greenspan / Floortime, in regards > > to time spent doing the therapy per day.
