my daughter had a bad gall bladder attack and wanted to know what natural way there was to take care of it, other than the drs suggestion of taking it out.  so i asked everyone here,.  there were many responses.  first is the one re: the chanca piedra drops.  we are trying to find out how long to stay on them before the flush.

Hello Barbara,

Sorry your daughter's suffering at the moment. Herb called chance piedra has been a massive help to me with severe gall pain. I use a tincture I got on iHerb but you can use it in any form you like. 'Chanca piedra' is spanish and translates as 'stone breaker'. It's traditionally used for gallstones but also other calcified stones in the body and as a protective herb for the liver. I was terrified I'd have to go to hospital but now the pain is gone.

Another thing traditionally used for stones is organic apple cider vinegar with the mother strain. It can be taken as well as ch.pied. and also brought help for my pain.

I also took Jarrow's Bile Acid Factor (iherb) with the main meal of the day as it digests fats and takes the pressure off the gallbladder. It brought a bit of relief fairly quickly. An alternative to this is betaine hcl with the main meal as this will greatly increase the digestion of fats that are putting the heat on the over-taxed gall. However, I'd say only use one or the other of these two with a meal because the two together would probably be too much and make the stomach sore.

(Might be better to keep fat intake very low until things settle down in the gallbladder.)

I found these remedies very effective, cheep and easy to use but whatever route your daughter takes I hope she'll feel better soon. It might be encouraging for her to read some of the customer reviews about ch.pied. From people who avoided surgery with the help of this herb.

Hope this helps a bit,

Good luck!Circleine.

here is a link to the flush instructions.  there are several, this is just one:http://www.worldwidehealthcenter.net/articles-25.html

hope this helpsbarbara

I am on the tale end of this thread. Would someone kindly re-post the information on the gallbladder flush and the info on the chanca piedra drops?

Thanks so much,
