Unfortunately for me, Im rather out of options.I have thrush which is also on my lips and they crack and peel constantly.I have kept gaining more and more weight and Ive been taking most of the natural remedies and available pharmaceuticals for yeast.Having been a human guinea pig for the last 9 years when it comes to lyme, and trying a lot of things, some with and some without success, I feel like trying this is about one of the few options i have left to me Has anyone tried the Byron White A FNG or the Jennergan formulas for lyme and candida?since apparently the lukefuron is only toxic to zooplankton and a few other tiny organisms it seems to be worthy as something to try.Its been shown to be non toxic in animals. If it works and knocks back my yeast to a manageble level then it will be worth it for me.There have been no human trials of this, only

animals. But then most meds are tested on animals before they are tested on humans and well Ive gotta do something.Might as well be a guinea pig here tooI will let you know when or if I can see a differencejan Re: : OT: Lefenuron update Posted by:

To anybody,

i didn't know anything about lufenuron so looked it up on wikipedia and here is what it said. this is confusing to me. is this stuff ok for us to take. i have always been scared to give my animals flea meds and now we are taking it. it does show toxicity to water zooplankton. can anyone help me understand the safety of this stuff????

Lufenuron is the active ingredient in the veterinary flea control medication Program, and one of the active ingredients in the veterinary flea control, heartworm prevention,

and anthelmintic medicine milbemycin oxime/lufenuron (trade names Program plus, Sentinel Flavor Tabs).

Lufenuron is stored in the animal's body fat and transferred to adult fleas through their bite. Adult fleas transfer it to their eggs by its presence in the mother flea's blood, or by the larva feeding on pre-digested blood.

Lufenuron, a benzoylurea pesticide, inhibits the production of chitin in larval fleas. Without chitin, a larval flea will never develop an exoskeleton. Attacking the ability to create chitin may make lufenuron a remedy against fungal infections, such as ringworm (a dermatophyte infection and not a worm at all).

It has no known toxic effects at any dosage on humans or other animals in the environment that do not depend on chitin, though the orally-administered pills can sometimes cause an upset stomach with acid

reflux.

Lufenuron is also sold as a crop protection product (pesticide) by Syngenta for use against lepidoptera, eriophid mites, and Western flower thrips; it has approval in a number of countries for use on a variety of crops, including soybeans and maize.

Lufenuron is thought to be an effective anti-fungal in plants. It is safe because Lufenuron is biochemically inert to mammals. Lufenuron is not broken down by the liver or kidneys. Lufenuron's antifungal property may be due to its inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, which makes up roughly 33% of the typical fungal cell wall.

Lufenuron was included in a biocide ban proposed by the Swedish Chemicals Agency because it is toxic to fresh water zooplankton [1] and approved by the European Parliament on January 13, 2009.[2]

thanks,

barbara

I have just ordered the lufenuron for myself to see if itwill be helpful.Im also looking for a new place to live ( have a possibility Im looking at tonight) because I believe there is mold in this house which Im sure is not helping.

Ive ordered Lactbicillus CG which is the best probiotic for candida supposedly and have ordered oregano oil capsules.

Ive had candida infections for so long that Im hoping this regimen will work.

You are supposed to take it over three days and its supposed to work for two or three weeks,So I will try it, see if it knocks it down and then do another course of it because I dont think any one dose of anything will get it knocked down.

Im also on the very strict part of the anti-candida diet right now and have lost a few pounds.I suspect that once the candida is lowered more weight will come off of me, which is necessary as Ive gained 35 pounds with having lyme and candida

Jodie, that sounds like good common sense to me! I wonder how long lefenuron has been marketed to humans? I would like it to have some history of safe and effective use before I try it. Hi Jan,

I take several Jernigan formulas. Microbojen constantly, with a 4-day monthly

break; Silphitrin the same way; Borrelogen every other month; Lymogen every 4

months; Paragen every 4 months (approximately 26 days). Silphitrin is for the

ammonia, I believe, and the others are for LD and other related pathogens. I

was not aware that any of them work on candida, though ...

As far as I know, I do not have thrush, BUT my lips do crack and peel constantly

(and have my entire life). So if that is a symptom, I guess I have it. :(

The website says you take 1/3rd of the package each day for 3 days in a row. There are 9 grams in a package so you take approximately 3 grams with a fatty food each day for the three days.I am going to do that , see if there ae changes and do another 3 days worth, because it likely wont wipe out all the candida with one 3 day cycle. It must be taken with a meal that has a higher fat contentjan Posted by: "Marie Benoit" phoenix4grace@... phoenix4grace Date: Mon Mar 5, 2012 9:48 pm ((PST))Hi Damarise,I do nto understand : do we have to take it often or one or two cycle ? I did the 3 day course of Lufenuron and I do think that my Candida infection may be a bit better, but it is hard to tell, because I was also running frequencies for Crytosporidium at the same time.

Ooops--I just hit a button my mistake and I think I sent a non-reply to

everyone! Sorry...

I have also been rifing for various funguses on my GB 4000, and right now,

besides my various probiotics that I alternate, I am also taking Clotrimazole

for ten days. So that should help. But if it doesn't, I may consider

Lefenuron. In the meantime, I'll be watching your posts to follow your

progress.

I did too ,

And it di dimprove somewhat the fungus , not completly thought btu more rapidly than anything else I did

I am going to do an other run after the KIB500.

I had 9 month long ago of an antifungual teatment to cure my nail . It di dwork dispt eof having it for mor ethan 20 years !

But it was hight level antibiodys for 9 month .

So logically we cannot expect to get read of a sytemic infection in one run . I think that I will do it until the reis no more sign of anykind of fungus anymore

as I think it si effective . And I di dnto do any diet except changing the jam and supar for xylitol make things we had once or twice a pastry bought in a grocery store.

It may be the defintive answer for me and my husband ,providing we do it long enought As it takes just 3 days every 2 weeks it is not a big deal
