Amp decreasing as coil is going

Tonight after about 2 minutes, I noticed my amp needle decrease to about 12 1/2,

so I slightly increased it again to 13. After a total of 18 minutes (between us

all) I noticed the needle had gone down to 12 amps. Should it be doing this?
