Guest guest
Instead of kill off the animals that are just innocent victims of ticks the same as we are, we should be encouraging the populations of those animals/birds that are good tick-killers. Guinea hens eat a lot of ticks. I would like to see yards and yards of these birds. We should not kill off ourselves with poisons and the animal/bird populations due to tick infestation. That does not do anyone any good. Feeding hungry guinea fowl is much more efficient and nature... Blessings, Meo
Guest guest
Hi Marie, Planting fruit trees in the green areas near the streets is an excellent idea!! Hunger in America is a very sore spot for me and your idea could be part of the solution!! Take care, Jim > > Yes I am for it rises thousands of turkeys and free them every wehre beside we will have food for the bad days too and eggs same for chicken. > Why do nt we plant decorative trees instead of fruit tree in USA and every where in the street there would be much less people in hunger . > Kindly Marie > > > ________________________________ > > To: Lyme_and_Rife > Sent: Monday, March 19, 2012 10:26 AM > Subject: Re: OT Beware Tick population boom expected this year! > > >  > Instead of kill off the animals that are just innocent victims of ticks the same as we are, we should be encouraging the populations of those animals/birds that are good tick-killers. Guest guest
this is a great idea. It will create small NO TICK ZONES. Now lets go to your own state spray recommendations for spraying the fruit trees. Most need to be sprayed at least one time per week. Now lets look at the re entry time that no one can walk or drive down the street because of the pesticide restrictions. Now lets look at the shape of the trees. Trees planted along streets are to grow upward to stay out of the traffic and off sidewalk. Fruit trees are to be pruned to stay low so if we plant them on both sides of the street we can remark the streets to make them one way, letting the trees take over what would be the outside areas of the road. Now vegetables are another story. We can plant them in the open areas. They will stay low and be pretty. Why not sweet potato instead of ornamental sweetpotato. Growing these along the streets we can control all the insects down low by gassing them. The fumes from the gas and diesel burning cars should do a good job. Now lets dig the area up. This will solve more problems as we get ready to plant. First we cut the tv line, telephone line, gas line, water line. Now we have the crop ready to harvest. Now it will be a FIGHT LIKE ROAD RAGE to see who gets the food. Is it anyone who can get there first even before it is ready to be picked. or is it the public officials that make all their money from the taxpayers since this is on public property it just seems correct the our officials should have another method to widen their waste while we starve. > > > > Yes I am for it rises thousands of turkeys and free them every wehre beside we will have food for the bad days too and eggs same for chicken. > > Why do nt we plant decorative trees instead of fruit tree in USA and every where in the street there would be much less people in hunger . > > Kindly Marie > > > > > > ________________________________ > > From: stagebabe2003 <stagebabe2003@> > > To: Lyme_and_Rife > > Sent: Monday, March 19, 2012 10:26 AM > > Subject: Re: OT Beware Tick population boom expected this year! > > > > > >  > > Instead of kill off the animals that are just innocent victims of ticks the same as we are, we should be encouraging the populations of those animals/birds that are good tick-killers.
