Guest guest
Hello, Yes, there is a very simple way to figure out if you have mold sickness: do you get frequent sinus infections? Usually they are fungal, according to Dr. ph Mercola on his website, www.mercola.com
Guest guest
www.survivingmold.comSent from my iPhone Hi anyone with mold sensitivity, when I read louise's post sharing of her success in her year of coiling i went on her web site and found some info on mold and how it can add to complications of chronic illness/lyme. many have talked about it but i never considered it for myself. her site mentions "has your house ever flooded?' i have had that happen. here is my history re: mold exposure. **********1979, while on vacation, water pipes in our upstairs broke. water took out the ceiling of the main floor, flooded it and drained into the basement, leaving several inches of standing water. the saturated cement walls took over 30 days to dry out with fans and space heaters. we cleaned up and rebuilt the inside and lived there until 1994. interestingly, in 1981 i was dx with lupus, then fibro. 1998 my new husband wanted to move to the seattle area to work. we bought a used 5th wheel to live in temporarily, then decided to build a permanent home on the coast, 2 hrs away. we retired that 5th wheel to the building site to use while building on weekends. we bought a new 5th wheel for my husband for a residence in seattle, until retirement. however, i stayed there about half the time with him. when we sold the used one (yrs ago) we realized that it had been leaking down in the walls and rotting out the floor. when we sold the second one last yr we realized it had been leaking at 2 of the 3 slides. i even found black mold on some clothing. so we had been staying in leaky 5th wheels for about 10 yrs. in the early 2000s i became quite ill and in 07 found out we both had lyme and cos. and many health issues.is this enough water/wet/mold environment to cause a mold issue? introductions to moldy areas are followed by sickness both times for me. could there be mold issues with us?? how do we go about finding a dx? tests or symptom dx? what do we do about it if so?thanks for anyone's input. barbara =
