Although Nenah Sylver’s instructions for Gall Bladder & Liver Cleanse recommended one, I could not find instructions for a kidney flush in her RIFE HANDBOOK, although she also recommends an herbal parasite cleanse and rifing for parasites to improve kidney and overall health. Balch’s PRESCRIPTION FOR NUTRITIONAL HEALING has quite a bit of information on kidney health, but no instructions for a flush. The simplest advice I saw was to avoid dehydration, and to drink lemon water in the morning for kidney and liver health. Both books also recommended avoiding oxalates, as well as all of the usual foods considered unhealthy, especially sugar. I did find my old notes for kidney flush, which I will describe at the end of this email (they are not stored in this computer, and are too marked up to scan). When I googled “Kidney Flush†there were a number of websites available, none of which looked like the resources I wanted, and there were also several products for kidney flush, including one from Hulda . So I googled Hulda and found her “Kidney Liver Bowel Cleanse, Herbal Recipes by Hulda â€: http://www.kidneycleanse.com/ - which did not look familiar to me, but might be worth considering. Then I googled Dr. Mercola. When I searched for “Kidney Flush†I got nothing, but when I search for “Kidneys†I found this article about avoiding kidney disease, part of which I copied into this email:http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/01/08/kidney-disease-part-two.aspxCulprits Linked to Kidney DamageOne major culprit is taking OTC pain pills such as aspirin, Motrin, Advil or Tylenol, which can cause kidney damage. About 15 percent of the people on dialysis (an artificial blood-filtering process used to clean the blood of malfunctioning kidneys) are getting this treatment as a result of the damage that Tylenol and/or aspirin did to their kidneys. So, avoiding Tylenol and aspirin will be very important to preventing kidney disease.Simply put, virtually NO ONE needs to take statin drugs. When you treat the symptoms with a drug, you are in no way, shape or form treating the cause. Therefore, it should come as no surprise that artificial drugs cause serious side effects.Another danger to your kidneys is mercury. When you eat too much contaminated fish or drink repeatedly from a polluted water supply, you may be setting yourself up for chronic mercury poisoning. Health problems that can result from mercury poisoning include:Nervous system damageKidney diseaseBirth defectsDental problemsMood swingsMental changesHallucinationsMemory lossNerve damageInability to concentrateFinally, taking Crestor can lead to kidney disease. For instance, the highest, 80-milligram dose of Crestor could not be approved because of serious side effects including muscle and kidney damage. Some say the drug may produce side effects even at lower doses, and caution that patients should be closely monitored when on the drug.As you can see, simply minding what you are putting into your body may change the outcome of whether or not you get kidney disease. Remember: Eating right and avoiding harmful toxins is a major key to achieving total and complete optimal wellness.Related Articles:NAC and Water Useful in Preventing Kidney FailureHigh-Protein Diets May Damage Your KidneysVioxx and Celebrex (-2 Inhibitors) May Affect KidneysWhy Kidney Failure Strikes 1 in 13 African AmericansDo You Use Aspirin or Tylenol Regularly? Beware as They Are Linked to Kidney FailureSo, I’m going to retype these instructions for the kidney flush, which I was given by my colon therapist, probably during the 90’s. I do not know what source she got it from. Please note that the amounts given are the same for everyone. A 100 pound woman will not need as much as a 250 pound man, so if I was to do this again, I would adjust accordingly. Somewhere in my old records must be my notes on how I did with this. All I remember was that I was extremely tired for a couple of weeks afterward, probably because it triggered hypoglycemia or stimulated growth of candida, although my colon therapist thought it was from detox. So if I was to do it again I might substitute granny smith apples for the watermelon and add some soaked almonds for protein. I have no idea how that would affect the effectiveness of the flush. It might be wise to consult a holistic MD or ND before starting. If you use self-kinesiology or a pendulum to choose protocols that are currently helpful to you, that might also be helpful. And if you choose to do this, try to do it when you have no other commitments so you will always have access to the bathroom. KhayaKIDNEY FLUSH:1) SEVEN DAYS OF WATERMELON – JUICE OR WHOLE – INCLUDE PART OF INNER RIND If not organic, wash well before cutting to remove any invisible mold. Start day with juice, then whole or juice for breakfast and snacks. Salad OK for lunch and dinner. Two days OK.2) 2 ALFALFA CAPSULES EVERY 1-3 HOURS, 2-4 DAYS DURING WAKING HOURS This will add up to approximately 100 capsules (2 days 24-64).3) FIRST DAY – JUICE OF 6 LEMONS IN A GALLON OF DISTILLED WATER Drink all of this during the first day, along with your watermelon. (Adjust according to your tolerance level.)4) SECOND, THIRD & FOURTH DAYS – Take alfalfa capsules with water only5) THIS IS NOT A FAST – you may eat lightly during the (2 to) 7 days. Watermelon would be the first choice, but if not available, pick another juicy fruit (and/or fresh raw organic vegetables).HELPFUL TEAS: Uva Ursi, Parsley, Dandeline, Juniper Berry, Camomile (or any herbal teas with diuretic qualities).BLADDER FLUSH:1) 100 capsules of Alfalfa2) Dissolve 1 teaspoon of Alfalfa in a glass of warm water and drink.3) Add 1/3 glass of warm water to rinse the glass and drink that also.4) Do this every hour until the powder is all gone.5) If you start early in the morning, you should be able to complete the flush by the end of the day. If you haven’t finished by evening, take the remainder the next morning.THIS FLUSH IS DONE ON THE 7TH DAY OF THE WATERMELON CLEANSE.“This information is not intended to prescribe or diagnose in any way. Guest guest
I should also mention that, when I was having vertigo, Dr. B showed me a Chi gong way to massage my kidneys, which I still do daily. You bend over a little bit to take the arch out of your lower back and bring the kidneys closer to the surface, bending the knees a little, also. Form fists and use the knuckles of both hands to massage the kidneys--80 counts.
