Guest guest
So, if this is true, what can one do to correct an electrolyte imbalance? Sue
Guest guest
Hi Sherry, Bruce Stenulson, a respected EMEM builder once told me that taking EmergenC about 1/2 hour before rife sessions, makes for more productive sessions.. So it does appear that electrolytes may play an important roll.. Take care, Jim > > Due to a recent experience of finding myself losing potassium and being low in sodium and how this impacted my rife treatment, I wondered if anyone else has explored this question? > > Could this be a factor in why some people don't seem to respond to rife treatment? > > I recently saw a comment on another forum about something Nenah Sylver said about thyroid as I recall, but the thing that caught my attention was something about the cells being able to hold the charge from the rife treatment. Guest guest
Jim, this is very interesting. I'm wondering if new folk and folk who are seemingly not responding to rife should be encouraged to explore this. Jan, I do try to watch electrolyte balance but had gotten off track when I went to the USA and since the impact came on slowly, I didn't realize it. I use prescription strength potassium supplementation. Lab tests if done, should check RBC levels not serum levels. Guest guest
Sherry, I think potassium might be playing a role in my problems. Most multis don't even contain much, maybe 5 or 10 mg. But someone told me not to supplement with potassium because it would have side effects. I took it several years ago, I think 99 mg, which is the usual dose & I don't think it bothered me. In fact, I think it might have helped with energy. Do you get any side effects from the prescription potassium? How many mg is it? You said you had an experience of losing potassium & sodium. How did you know that? I have recently started to rife & want it to be as effective as possible. I thought all the minerals we needed were in Real Salt, etc. so I have been drinking the salted water. Perhaps I will either try the EmergenC or supplement with potassium. Thanks. Guest guest
Coconut water is full of potassium and is a good source of electrolytes. I cultured mine for my son so he stays hydrated, gets potassium and gets great probiotics too. Guest guest
Hi barbara, Sometimes you can get the young green coconuts at Asian food stores, co-ops or other health food stores. Really depends in which part of the U.S you live. I live in the " sticks " and (north)cold climate so its harder to come by. We mostly get it in the tetra boxes because that is what is available. Their are many brands now...O.N.E is one brand...their are a bunch of others, but my brain isn't recalling the names. Harvest Bay...maybe? I get the ones with no junk added to them like metasulfate, sugar etc. It's still pasteurized but when u live in the north you have to compromise. Fresh is always best if you can get it...but it's a lot of work!!!!!!! OHH...but with the fresh ones you can make yogurt or chocolate pudding with the soft insides and mix with stevia etc. It's good:) Anyways you can buy the small ones or the 1 liter cartons. I do either depends on what is cheaper. I culture a 1/2 gallon at a time and give him some through out the day. I use the package cultures from body ecology because we have to be careful with the probiotic cultures in the grains etc. that others here are using. You could probably use whatever. Wyatt would guzzle it 24/7 if I let him...but do to the expense we give him small amounts a couple times per day! Hope that helps. I can guide you through it more when u return.. Been doing it for almost 4.5 years now. Good luck Jodie L. > > > > > > > > > > > > Due to a recent experience of finding myself losing potassium and > > being low in sodium and how this impacted my rife treatment, I wondered if > > anyone else has explored this question? > > > > > > > > > > > > Could this be a factor in why some people don't seem to respond to > > rife treatment? > > > > > > > > > > > > I recently saw a comment on another forum about something Nenah > > Sylver said about thyroid as I recall, but the thing that caught my > > attention was something about the cells being able to hold the charge from > > the rife treatment. Guest guest
Hi Sue, Taking Emergen-C 1/2 before rife treatments benefits rifing and Coiling.. What are electrolytes? http://www.medicinenet.com/electrolytes/article.htm If you use Magnesium oil and you should, it has about 80 trace minerals, chloride and also magnesium oil is the most important supplement we Lymies need... Purist mag oil comes from the ancient Zechstein sea bed in Europe, this is a 250 million year old underground sea bed with no current day pollutants... Lowest cost reseller is Swanson. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/RefSearch?q=magnesium+oil & doSearch=true & ntt= & n=0 & \ ntk=Level1 & x=0 & y=0 http://www.swansonvitamins.com/health-library/products/barbara-hendel-magnesium-\ oil.html Also, consuming sea salts daily will also provide about the same amount of minerals and also chloride... Course salt is best as it contains the most minerals.. In Dr. Barbara Hendel's book on Himalayan sea salts, she suggests using 1 tsp of salt sole' in a glass of filtered or distilled water and chug it down, first thing in the morning before food... http://www.swansonvitamins.com/health-library/master/barbara-hendel-himalayan-cr\ ystal-salt.html http://www.quantumbalancing.com/news/sea_salt.htm http://www.swansonvitamins.com/SWU474/ItemDetail And azomite is a good toxin binder and also mineral replacement.. http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/Lyme_and_Rife/message/29357 Drinking Emergen-C is also helpful... A few flavors available at WalMart in the vitamin section. http://www.swansonvitamins.com/Search?keyword=emergen & doSearch=true & ntt= & n=0 & ntk\ =Level1 & x=0 & y=0 Take care, Jim > > So, if this is true, what can one do to correct an electrolyte imbalance? > > Sue >
