Guest guest
oh jodie, i am so sorry if i hurt you. sometimes i get carried away and wanting to help by my own experiences, forgetting it may not be right for another. you are so very right about how childhood coping mechanisms work in childhood but are detrimental in adulthood. guess we all know that by experience. i was fortunate to be exposed to the positive aspects of counseling/psychology, not the weird stuff, but common sense stuff, sounds like you did too and you make perfect sense. my kids also got the benefits and have, overall, done pretty good. i also have to credit a loving, caring, involved extended family for much of their stability today.staying positive, well, that was a good moment!! i do struggle a lot, up and down. so glad wyatt is doing so well with the autism. i think so much credit goes to you for finding the vaccines clears and the loving care you give him. i didn't know that he had lyme and bart also. i must have missed that. so sorry. are you going the same treatments with him as yourself. it sounded like a good one and that you were doing a little better. again, so sorry to be so out spoken. barbara Jodie L, what was your website again? > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dr. Alan Mac was interviewed in the documentary " Under > > > Our > > > > > > > Skin " regarding Lyme. Guest guest
jodie, thank you so much for your reassurance and acceptance. i KNOW I DO tend to go ocd (my new favorite phrase to explain/excuse me--that info came from you, thx ) at giving advice. my kids have commented over the yrs 'mom goes love to give advice!' i always desire to help, but the biggest problem is that i often lack the wisdom of where to stop. i am so 'long winded.' is there anything in the lyme package that i could blame that on? maybe the fact that i fell off the top of my g.mother's basement stairs and went over the side, not down the stairs, and landed on my head on the cement. (dr said if i had been older it would have killed me, but at 2 my bones were still soft enough to give.) does that count in my favor? oh, i do hope so. you just keep joking and teasing me, i love to joke also, but sometimes i fear i offend when i joke, making me almost paranoid? can i blame lyme? actually my mom, sister, and i, being english and german, have a way of joking that can offend, so i have to be careful. then with lyme brain i don't catch on, i'm a little slow. oh, well, having to apologize keeps me humble. so don't worry about offending me. i enjoy the friendship very much. seems this is where my life touches the outside world. the people on this site have become the friends i haven't been able to make because of the isolating factors of lyme. and i appreciate everyone here. i'm glad you are doing better. sometimes it feels like just a little light at the end of a tunnel--and it's not a train. you can't always say where the improvement is, it's just kind of there. and we will take it. it is so hard not to over treat. we start to feel a little better, get excited, treat and treat some more, then herx too much. sounds like you are getting a good handle on it though. i think when we feel that mental improvement, like you are now, makes a bigger impact than even the physical. there is this cute little poem that i can remember only part of it, but you will get the idea: i can live with my bifocals, and my dentures fit just fine,...................................... (can't remember)but oh, how i miss my mind. i know this is for older people but it so fits the lymie.which treatments have you done to make that mental improvement? i understand that doom and gloom thing, it's so heavy. do you think that maybe the ups and downs of pushing treatment have eliminated more bugs, even though it was hard? i hope so. after 'finding' jodie, while you still have her, ask if she has seen 'barbara', and if so, tell her to come home. i miss her. barbara Barbara, I should be the one apologizing...NOT YOU! I said I was JUST KIDDING after what I had said! I like to play around and have fun..(tease) but I think I made a big mistake You didn't hurt my feelings at all! I consider you a great friend.....and I appreciate what you share! I think I should maybe be a bit careful....I don't want anyone to take me the wrong way No offense was taking in the least bit. Hope that clears things up I didn't know Wyatt had lyme or bart either. But he has been showing very clear signs for the past 6 +++ months that I clearly can't ignore or put off on any other pathogen when his symptoms are identical to my own. We have taken a break from the homeopathic clears too...as his immune system is def. a bit bogged down. He has broken red feet, persistent gut issues and constipation that has gotten worse, headaches, dizziness etc. It probably explains his poor growth as well. Whoo knows.. Take care, Jodie L> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Hi, > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Dr. Alan Mac was interviewed in the documentary > > " Under > > > > > Our > > > > > > > > > Skin " regarding Lyme.
