I use homeopathic remedies with great success.

I am very sensitive to meds of all kinds (e.g. ¼ dose is usually sufficient

for me), and in the past I was able to use Zyrtec (smaller dose than usual)

before I started with homeopathy.

Hi Dawn, I was a had allergies to everything when I was a child. My

grandmother feed me honey comb from local beehive, and every couple of

weeks i had to drink a mix of honey and apple cider vinegar

(tablespoon of each) in a large glass of water. today I have very few

outdoor allergies. and if I do get a sudden attach i drink a touch of

dry ginseng in a cup of herbal tea. but ask the doc if any of this is

right for your child.

Dawn,

Through Dr. Goldberg we have used Allegra with pretty good success. I think

he also uses something called Ah Chew (I have no idea if I spelled that

right) with some kids.

does anyone know of a good allergy med for kids with minimal or no side

effects?  my son has some environmental allergies and I feel i may need to

treat them more aggressively for the time being.  we are leaving for family

camp and i want him (and the family) to have fun.  we're going to be around

trees and horses, etc. and i'm a little nervous about potential issues.

would love to hear if anyone has recommendations.  his developmental

pediatrician was bragging about singular and no side effects.  however, when

i looked at the side effects list it was pretty lengthy and scary.

please advice!!

Thanks!

Dr. G prescribes Allegra for my son and it has done wonders. It seemed to also

help his eczema. We tried Claritin and Zyrtec, but it made too sleepy.

Allegra has no side effects (for my son) and it gets the job done!

Good luck,

robyn
