khaya, what are you using it for?  barbara

Hi Barbara & Suzy,

The Saccromyces boulardii sold in my doctor's office is quite expensive. But I am getting it from another source--a product called Boulardii Max from Advanced Naturals, 45 caps for $25. Advanced Naturals is sold under another name in the health food stores--I can't think of the brand name, but it is dark blue bottles with yellow caps. And I believe there are also other sources for it.

hi, wasn't aware the sacro b killed candida.  i know it is expensive, so do you think, considering the cost, it is cost effective vs. other killers?wow, didn't know rogue river area got tornadoes.  we had really heavy winds here yesterday, hail, snow, rain, wind and sunshine today, plus it is very cold here for this time of yr.  very weird weather this yr.  on the weather channel they showed snoqualamie pass requiring chains.  seems late in the yr for that also.  several yrs ago we had a tornado touch down here next to the ocean.  very unusual.  even tipped over a trailer and took out a garage roof.

but, we are watching the weather for vegas right now and it is in the 70's.  we are going the last of march.  last yrs. my husband, tom, took me there the end of may in hopes of getting sunshine and eating lots of food and gaining some weight.  we hit a very unusual cold window and could only sit by the pool one day.  in fact, it was closed because of the high winds.  so, this yr we are really hoping to have warm weather so we can sit out by the pool and get some 'd'. otherwise, we tend to run out of things to do because we aren't gamblers, but go because of 4 free nights, and it's a nice change of pace.

Hi, Barbara,

I use it to help control candida. I think I wrote about it a week or two ago, but maybe it was part of a larger topic. Just about everyone who has ever taken antibiotics has a problem with it. I was probably born with, and had penicillin before I was 10, when it was a brand-new miracle drug.

I'm skipping around and checking just a few emails now--getting ready to go for a walk, and then it will be time to make dinner. After that I hope I'll have time to check the rest ...

BTW, we had a tornado watch last night, but luckily nothing happened.
