Coiling for Bart

Hate to sound like a broken record, but one needs to know what kind of coil machine is being discussed before discussing time issues. The Doug Coil is many, many times stronger than others such as the GB 4000. Twenty seconds sounds like a Doug type device. It has taken us six months to get to 45 seconds on the Doug machine because of the intensity of the effect. Please be very cautious with advice to coil for longer periods of time and go up very, very slowly. We use 5 seconds each session. It can take up to 4 days for a Herx to appear. (Although most show up within 24 hours). Still, until you are really familiar with the equipment and response, be ultra-cautious. I am would suggest that when posting helpful information about coiling times, that it is very important to know what kind of equipment is being used and how long the respondent has been coiling. The Doug coil will penetrate concrete blocks, while others only penetrate a short distance into the skins. Very different machines, very different effects, and very different results. The Doug coil can put you in the hospital. I am not an expert on this, by any measure, but we had a terrible experience early on with the Doug by not knowing how intense and powerful it is. Two minutes is way too much to start out. (Unless you don’t have a hit). Bart grows very fast and if you have had it untreated for a while, you have to assume it is pretty entrenches. There is discussion back and forth between coiling for Bart or Borrelia first. The pendulum swings depending on who you talk to and what they are thinking at the moment. We started out on Bart and then switched back to Borrelia. Our son was so full of Bart that we put him on Rifabutin 2x Mon-Thurs to beat back the Bart while we coil the Borrelia. Have been doing that for about 4-5 months. Different strokes for different folks. Kindest, Carolyn Long
