Guest guest
I have heard that some people have bad reactions to the mesh used in hernia repair. Personally, I did not react to the mesh, but both times the surgery was unsuccessful. But they did give me antibiotics to take following surgery, each time. The things that helped me most after surgery was IV " Meyers " (vitamins & minerals) and magnetic generator treatments. But recovery after joint replacement does take a lot longer than after a hernia. It takes a long time to get your energy back. I do take a natural form of thyroid, compounded for me with no preservatives. My insurance doesn't cover it, but it is not expensive. And it does make a huge difference. Dr. B also tests me for iron and vitamin D, and I am taking both as natural supplements. Plus lots of C and B's. Some people believe you should not take supplemental magnesium, since it feeds LD. Well, so does food, but you don't starve yourself in order to starve the LD, do you? I use both supplemental magnesium and magnesium oil. And sometimes soak in epsom salts. Magnesium is one of the most important supplements, I think. I think the Townsend Letter keeps up a list of holistic practitioners. I hope you can find one!
