I still haven't read the emails left over from last night and earlier today, so don't know what else ensued, but it looks like you handled this very well.

And actually, I don't thin Xylitol is the answer, either. If you research how the various sweeteners affect your body, none of them is perfect. Even stevia is usually combined with other substances which may or may not be beneficial. So I think it's a good idea to avoid all of them as much as possible. If you're going to eat a small amount of something sweet, go ahead and don't worry what it's sweetened with. As long as it's infrequent and in small amounts, you're probably not going to be harmed very much.
