Guest guest
Those were my husband's results (he had IgG 23 positive, not IgM). 23KD is a Lyme-specific band, so based on that and the clinical diagnosis, his LLMD determined that has has Lyme. > > This is for a friend of mine who is willing to go with the negative diagnosis. Guest guest
I do not knwo a clue about htis beth I just read 23KD IgM A Present And I did not beleive when Dct K told me I had lyme . I had positive results only 1 year after treating intensively after severla years of agravations . Kindly Marie To: Lyme_and_Rife Sent: Wednesday, March 28, 2012 10:51 AMSubject: Re: Can you help with these WB results? Beth,From what I am being told on the list is that 23 is very Lyme specific. Three on the list (some spouses) have only had this band, but along with symptoms, are diagnosed as Lyme by LLMDs. Remember the bands 31 and 34 have been eliminated, so you cannot tell if they would have been positive either, as crucial as they are. They also went on to get a second opinion from a more Lyme specifiic lab, which all came back positive. IgM refers to antibodies initially produced after the disease, but with Lyme, because it changes its outer surface proteins, the Igm is usually seen in chronic Lyme infection. If you are choosing antibiotics, please read some of the websites which will give you a greater knowledge of Lyme. The Borrelia bacteria reproduce, I believe, every 5 to six weeks, which is why antibiotic therapy NEEDS to be longer, especially in newly bitten people. Here's another site that is very helpful in seeking information:http://www.ilads.org/lyme_disease/about_lyme.htmlHope that helps.b18KD IgG Absent23KD IgG Absent28KD IgG Absent30KD IgG Absent39KD IgG Absent41KD IgG Absent45KD IgG Absent58KD IgG Absent66KD IgG Absent93KD IgG *AbsentLyme IgM Negative23KD IgM A Present39KD IgM Absent41KD IgM *Absent .
