Guest guest
angie, I think Jan S's thinking is on the right path! I have had gallbladder issues for a long time and they can be miserable. Have you ever tried the liver gallbladder flush to see if it helps the pain, acid reflux etc? Do you ever get pain on the right side of rib area...or feeling of fullness..congestion? You can have an ultrasound come up negative even if it's full of the green/cholesterol stones. They only detect the calcified stones. It has happened to me more then once. With your gallbladder being congested it can cause numerous digestion....GI complaints! It's worth exploring! Yes, it can be miserable. Guest guest
Thanks Jodie and Jan. Yes I have done two liver flushes that were quite brutal and not a lot of green stones came out. In addition, I have been doing liver packs with Castor oil three times a week with a teaspoon of olive oil taken after each pack, for one full year. If it were gall bladder related, liver packs are good for gall bladder issues. I would think I should have seen an improvement by now. Also did the coil bring on the gall bladder issue then, assuming of course this is gall bladder related. Guest guest
Angie, you asked: Also did the coil bring on the gall bladder issue then, assuming of course this is gall bladder related. I can't answer this directly, as I have never coiled. But I would think it is possible that this area is harboring a lot of toxic waste from coiling at a high/fast killing of pathogens...hence a lot of issues in this meridian. Guest guest
Angie, these all sound like good suggestions to me, but I have another idea (keep in mind there is often more than 1 or 2 causes for GI discomfort). Your probiotics worked well for about 2 months and than lost their effectiveness. I have heard that they do that--that's why it's often recommended to take one for a while and then switch to another. So I keep 2 brands on hand and use one for 15 days (morning and evening), then switch to the other. I also use a 3rd one containing Sacromyces boullardi every other evening, which works differently than the others. There's a lot of helpful things you can do. Guest guest
Thanks Jodie and Khaya. You both have a point. I guess Jodie the other next step is for me to pursue a HIDA scan for gallbladder issues. I will put that in hold for now, while I try this excellent idea by Khaya. Right now I am about to order Dr Ohhira's probiotic. Khaya, do you have other good ones I can get, so if possible I can do this rotation protocol you mentioned with them, in addition to the Ohhira product? Thank you. Angie. If I ever get out of this, I'll be sure to know exactly how so I can help anyone else ever unfortunate enough to go through this. > > > > > > > > > > > > Angie now that you say that olive oil relieved your symptoms temporarily Im thinking its your gall bladder.Gall bladder inflammation can cause all sorts of intestinal issues. If its candida related Kolorex and kandidaplex might help. They contain herbs that are specific to candidaalso lactobicillus CG is one that specifically targets candida a brand called culturelle ( I think)jan > > > > > > Re: OT: Ohira probiotics (was: wish I had never heard of the coil o > > > Posted by: " Angie " ivygirl345@ ivygirl345 > > > Date: Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:00 pm ((PDT)) > > > > > > Also guys it also just occurred to me now to add that since these horrible symptoms started, only two things have brought me some measure of relief. Guest guest
Hi All, I do believe that any rife machine as well as long term antibiotics can disrupt the gallbladder. If your liver is incapable of keeping up with the die off, then the gallbladder becomes a storage facility of sorts for all of the backed up toxins that your liver can't manage. I believe that gallbladder issues are an indirect result of rifing due to the toxic overload. > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Angie now that you say that olive oil relieved your symptoms temporarily Im thinking its your gall bladder.Gall bladder inflammation can cause all sorts of intestinal issues. If its candida related Kolorex and kandidaplex might help. They contain herbs that are specific to candidaalso lactobicillus CG is one that specifically targets candida a brand called culturelle ( I think)jan > > > > > > > > Re: OT: Ohira probiotics (was: wish I had never heard of the coil o > > > > Posted by: " Angie " ivygirl345@ ivygirl345 > > > > Date: Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:00 pm ((PDT)) > > > > > > > > Also guys it also just occurred to me now to add that since these horrible symptoms started, only two things have brought me some measure of relief. Guest guest
Liver and Gallbladder flushes really worked for me to turn my cranky gallbladder around. I passed massive amount of stones and after about 6 flushes, no more gallbladder pain. I highly recommend the book entitled the Amazing Liver and Gallbladder Flush, by s Moritz it is worth the read. Guest guest
Hi Angie, Two of my probiotics are ordered for me by my DO: LOGOS Essential Flora (logosnutritionals.com) and ADVANCED NATURALS BoulardiiMAX (advancednaturals.com). The other I buy at a local health food store: MEGAFOOD MegaFlora (megafood.com). I believe Advanced Naturals also is available with another brand name in health food stores (it comes in blue bottles with yellow tops). I imagine that Jim will have some good suggestions for products you can get on line, probably from Swanson. They say that the best probiotics are fresh and refrigerated, rather than freeze-dried and then not refrigerated. BoulardiiMAX is not refrigerated, but I believe Advanced Naturals is a respected company. You probably know, but it is worth repeating just in case you don't--the probiotics should be taken at least 2 hours before or after antibiotics (maybe an hour and a half, but no less). It's also probably best to take probiotics at least an hour and 1/4 after food, and 20 minutes or so before. Even so, a great deal of it passes right through your digestive system and only a small amount actually manages to colonize itself in your gut. Guest guest
If someone has gallbladder issues, wouldn't the fullness be generally in the area of the gallbladder? Should the fullness spread all across the upper abdomen? I'm just curious. I did two flushes and passed a bit of those greenish pebbles. In the second time around, I had pain in the gallbladder after the flush for a couple of days. That warned me to slow down, since I really have no real pain in that area, just a twinge of pain that comes and goes at just a particular spot directly underneath where I used to hold the coil. So given my experience with the coil where I blindly following what had worked for others, I was scared by the pain I experience in the gall bladder/ liver area after the second flush. That made me drop the flushes. Maybe I should revisit it as I am desperate for a cute and ready to pull all and any triggers, despite how careful I have been using anything since the coiling experience. In place of the flushes, exactly a year ago, I started doing castor oil live tracked three times a week. I am still doing it up till date. I had read it can also heal gallbladders/ liver if congested etc. Castor oil has not helped my abdominal symptoms in the year I have been doing it, but I doubt I'll ever stop them now either. I used to get colds and flus a lot in the past. Since I started them, all my colds/flu are gone. I pack all my kids at the first sign of an illness. It has kept my household healthy for two winters. So it stays. But as for my abdomen, it has not helped. So I'm thinking the gallbladder may not be the issue here. However if anyone thinks the liver flushes may be helpful for me where Castor Oil has not, please let me hear you. Guest guest
Also if you have gallbladder pain, hot castor oil packs do wonders for relieving pain temporarily, but ultimately you want to do liver and gallbladder flushes until you are no longer passing stones. You should not do them more often the every three weeks. Also oil or fats tend to make the gallbladder feel worse not better. With my GB pain it would be at it's worst after a fatty meal. I had a friend who had her GB removed because everytime she would eat anything with oil in it she would get nauseated and actually throw up. I believe that I posted a Liver and Gallbladder flush from s Moritz's book the Amazing Liver and Gallbladder flush in the files. They contain herbs that are specific to candidaalso lactobicillus CG is one that specifically targets candida a brand called culturelle ( I think)jan > > > > > > > > > > Re: OT: Ohira probiotics (was: wish I had never heard of the coil o > > > > > Posted by: " Angie " ivygirl345@ ivygirl345 > > > > > Date: Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:00 pm ((PDT)) > > > > > > > > > > Also guys it also just occurred to me now to add that since these horrible symptoms started, only two things have brought me some measure of relief. Guest guest
Hi Angie, I am glad you asked that question and the answer is yes, cholecystitis or gallbladder inflammation can cause pain across the entire front of the stomach and the back. The pain might be greater under the right side and radiate out, but my mom had an attack that landed her in the hospital and she was in so much pain that when our car would hit a bump on the freeway, she would cry out in pain. I would try taking some gallbladder herbs such as Gold Coin Grass, Chanca Piedra, Malic Acid, and Sillymarin. These can help soften the stones and also sleeping with a piece of flannel dipped in Castor oil with a hot water bottle over the sore spot will also help. I would do these things for a week or two and then try doing a gallbladder flush. I felt immediately better after my first flush. You really need to prepare, though using the herbs. People who don't properly soften the stones are generally the ones that get in trouble with the GB flushes. They contain herbs that are specific to candidaalso lactobicillus CG is one that specifically targets candida a brand called culturelle ( I think)jan > > > > > > > > > > > > Re: OT: Ohira probiotics (was: wish I had never heard of the coil o > > > > > > Posted by: " Angie " ivygirl345@ ivygirl345 > > > > > > Date: Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:00 pm ((PDT)) > > > > > > > > > > > > Also guys it also just occurred to me now to add that since these horrible symptoms started, only two things have brought me some measure of relief. Guest guest
Angie, I too think that you could need to do further gall bladder flushing, and perhaps need the gentlest approach plus a good deal of malic acid in advance to soften the stones. Gall bladder pain and discomfort can vary from person to person. I've been pondering how the coil could be connected to all of this. Since you responded to probioics, that suggests to me a bad bacteria or imbalance. Olive oil is also antibiotic in nature I think, based on something a friend told me who went to a biological dentist to remove a bad root canal. She was surprised when the dentist packed it with olive oil. My thought is that with the heavy abx, this was just waiting to happen and as others have said may very well be primarily coincidental with the coil use. I have been reading to try to get some idea about this as it does pose a safety issue for all of us. I found on electroherbalism.com a reference to someone who thought that he damaged a lymph node. This occurred because the lymph node contained a tapeworm which burst from the rife and damaged the lymph node itself. That was the explanation given. The second discussion I found was on another forum. The science is too much for me to comprehend completely. But the resonance frequencies for human cells is much higher than anything we use on the coil. The scientists did say that when cells are greatly weakened/compromised that it is more likely to resonate with and damage human cells but that those cells might be dying anyway. Certainly they said that factors such as the particular equipment and how it is used have to be taken into consideration. So my thinking is that a couple of possibilities might explain what happened (in addition to the good ideas already presented to you): First, that your gut flora was already greatly compromised. Then you ran a lot of 832, which hits many things according to CAFL. It likely killed some bad infection that created an opportunity for another bad infection to take root. Another thought is that some infection or parasite was in the walls of the intestine or the gall bladder, or in a pocket or something. When it was killed with the coil all at once, the compromised tissue became inflamed or the toxins released compromised the local tissues, etc. With the poor gut flora environment, the inflamed area has not healed. Diet might be complicating the issue right now when the gut needs rebalancing and healing. On the yahoo forum group for the specific carbohydrate diet, there are many posters with severe GI issues that have not responded usually to typical medical approaches and sometimes even elude diagnosis. The advice is that it takes a LONG time to heal (think years), that the " intro " diet that is recommended is only a guideline and that each person must determine what their safe foods are by trial and error and symptoms. It is also normal for people to have periods of flaring when they have go back to only their safest foods for a few days or weeks. Guest guest
Would it help anybody help me if I also included that the symptoms started off as on for about a month, then off for maybe two months and then on again for couple more weeks. It was like this pretty much in the first year. But since almost one and half years, it has been constant. Any insights please? Thanks Angie. Guest guest
I don't know the cycle of a lot of the pathogens, but they all seem to have periods of dormancy and activity. I know that Mycoplasma after I was coiling for it went completely dormant for about 10 days and then would come back out and I would have to hit it again. Maybe someone else knows the the dormancy period of Babesia and Bartonella. Lyme comes out spring and fall and is dormant most other months unless one is massively infected and then it is out all of the time. I would bet that even fungus has periods of dormancy too, but I don't know. I know that in order fight off fungus you have to have strong immune function and so most of us do have Candida overgrowth problems. They contain herbs that are specific to candidaalso lactobicillus CG is one that specifically targets candida a brand called culturelle ( I think)jan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Re: OT: Ohira probiotics (was: wish I had never heard of the coil o > > > > > > > Posted by: " Angie " ivygirl345@ ivygirl345 > > > > > > > Date: Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:00 pm ((PDT)) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Also guys it also just occurred to me now to add that since these horrible symptoms started, only two things have brought me some measure of relief. Guest guest
Yes, you are right, . Mercury is toxic to everything, so a flood of mercury released could have possibly damaged the intestinal tissues especially if they were in a weakened condition. I'm puzzled how to keep this discussion in the right thread as it isn't off topic to discuss the impact of the coil. Angie's further description of her symptoms sure sounds like poor digestion to me rather than structural damage or gall bladder. Except if she is not able to excrete bile that would impact her digestion. Guest guest
I second this. If it were me I would do the following: very strict diet with only the easiest digestible food. No grains, no starches, no legumes, no sugar. I'd follow SCD intro or GAPS intro but more restricted until I had no symptoms then slowly add. use digestive enzymes, HCL, and bile salts. Increase gradually and see if it helps. Push probiotics and keep switching brands until you get some that are working. I'd consider probiotic implants/enemas. Check nutrient levels since I suspect you are not digesting many foods. Guest guest
Hi...the SCD diet feeds parasites.....so if they are a part of the issue, I wouldn't do SCD. Seen that one happen with many children with Autism ...the other forum I'm on! Guest guest
Jodie, I had physical evidence of passing a whole bunch of parasites during the intro period on SCD. That said, I personally now use a much further restricted SCD that is very low carb. I'm not pushing any one diet on anyone else, though. Each has to figure out what works for them. And I think that ultimately the SCD is too restrictive on types of probiotics needed. Guest guest
Sherry you are right. The stool test run in me by Metametrix indicated poor digestion with reduced digestive enzyme. So the doctor says when we finally fix the gut, the enzymes should go back up. It bears mentioning that anytime I ran any electronic device back then, I would get a metallic taste in my mouth like all day long. It happened with the EMEM which was the first rife device I used. Also continued to happen with the coil machine. What dose that mean. One thing I know is that I can't afford any heavy metal detox I can't do at home. I have major money issues. Would gall bladder flush help with this if indeed it is a problem? I'm tempted to ask why me? I only used the device for a total of 3 hours 12 mins on my abdomen over two months. Not that it matters now. Guest guest
Sherry, over the course of 6 years, between both my son and I, we have been recommended about 6 different diets. It is confusing and everyone clearly has their own " input " as to what the best diet is. So.....I guess it really does come down to what works best for them :)It does make it very difficult though. Take care, Jodie L. They contain herbs that are specific to candidaalso lactobicillus CG is one that specifically targets candida a brand called culturelle ( I think)jan > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Re: OT: Ohira probiotics (was: wish I had never heard of the coil o > > > > > > > > Posted by: " Angie " ivygirl345@ ivygirl345 > > > > > > > > Date: Tue Mar 27, 2012 2:00 pm ((PDT)) > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > Also guys it also just occurred to me now to add that since these horrible symptoms started, only two things have brought me some measure of relief. Guest guest
metalic taste can indicate a few things but there are metal detox you can do at home. You start by taking huge quantities of chlorella and you can use DMSA which is available online.Take your chlorella like 10-20 tablets , then a half hour take one dmsa tablet. Then in a half hour take more chlorella and take a binder clay , chitosan, pectin etc.Do this twice a week , three times a week if you can handle it.It would give me severe detox reactions ,puking and diarrhea within 24 hours .I would take pectin at this point to stop having the runs and it will absorb the toxins. Not everyone has such severe reactions, My doc was rather surprised that i got this ill with it because DMSA is supposed to be a mild detox , So dont expect such a severe reaction , but it can happen. When i stopped having such a hard detox in three weeks i functioned better for some timejanSherry you are right.
