Guest guest
I just did my CD57 and it came in at 79. I don't have any other baseline to compare against. The guidelines that I found indicated that < 100 means that chronic lyme is present. Readings 100-200 indicates great progress, but relapse is still possible, so treatment must continue. Greater than 200 means that little chance of relapse, continuous treatment not necessary. I'm not sure how accurate of a gauge of improvement that this test is. I'd like to know what can be done supplement wise to help raise the NK count. > > Hi - I am feeling discouraged right now. Over the last couple of months I have been feeling better and better and especially so over the last month. I had a CD 57 done since the last time I had one was 7 months ago in August and it was 59. So I thought that I would see a big change in the numbers. I had a test done last week and got the results today and they were 56. I am so discouraged that they are 3 points lower and that they do not adequately reflect the fact that I feel better than I did 7 months ago. Is this normal? I realize that the number moves slowly and to treat the person and not the number, but it is so frustrating and makes me think that I am not doing enough in treatment. Anyone with similar experience? Thanks. Blessings, Meo >
Guest guest
Hi - Thank you for sharing. I think you posted before a link to info on the CD57 written by Ginger and it stated that you should not have the blood drawn on a Friday or the results could be wrong. My blood was drawn on a Friday so this makes me feel so much better about the poor result. I know that you should treat the person and not the numbers, but having such a low test result was really discouraging to me. It is good to know that the results are probably wrong.
