Guest guest
Hi Sparkle Goose, The instructions that came with the GB-4000 show where the dial should be for each % of full power, or call you dealer. I suggest you don't guess. General practice of the Forum members is go conservative; from my own experience, I do not allow such a strong herx. Only a mild one. Implies lower wattages and shorter time periods to start. Also, I continue at one setting with mild herxes until no herxes, then I up the watts and / or duration. I wait several days until feel good before another treatment. With one frequency, you are getting full power as set. Be careful. Adam > > Well, I finally tried my friend's GB-4000 and I really liked it!!! > QUESTION: How do you achieve precision wattage on the GB-4000? I wanted to use 2 watts, but the number " 2 " never showed up when we turned the wattage knob (the knob on the left side). In fact, no numbers showed up - it is guesswork isn't it - or was I doing it wrong? > > I used the GB-4000 at frequency 432 and about 5 watts (turned dial from left to a pointing-straight-up position) for 60 seconds. Needless to say, after that I felt the onset of weakness with also some nausea and lightheadedness. In the evening, I had a kind of a surge in energy but then had a troubled night awakening repeatedly with periodic breathing issues, a decline in O2 sats, twitching, mild heart issues, cramping, occasional head pain, fatigue, a feeling of currents running up my limbs, and burning of the soles of my feet. Would you call that a minor herx? > > Today I'm OK - just feeling weaker. No telling what symptoms might still surface tomorrow or the next day or night. I'm actually glad that I was still on antibiotics when I tried the GB-4000 - that way I didn't have as bad as herx as I would have had without them. > > QUESTION: Since I did have a type of herx after my first use of the GB-4000 at frequency 432 and 5 watts, should I just keep the dials set at 432 and a wattage of 5 for the next few sessions? In other words, is it best to wait until you no longer herx at a given wattage before increasing it or is it best to just move up the wattage even though you herxed at the previous lower setting? A friend suggested moving the wattage up to the maximum of 10 next time. That makes me nerous. > > I'm really pleased with my GB-4000 experience. >
