No, I don't get side effects from the potassium. As I recall, my LLMD said I

would excrete any extra. Each pill is 10 mEq, sorry I don't know what that is

in mg.

Regarding how I figured this out recently, primarily through muscle testing

myself.

However, I had previously found I was extremely weak for a couple of days

following chelation with DMPS. My LLMD said that the major loss of good trace

minerals with DMPS is potassium and to increase my intake from a day before to a

couple days after chelation. This helped.

I was experiencing weakness, and whenever I tested myself my body wanted more

potassium--way more than I usually take. So I got to wondering why. When I

tested myself for salt, I had a huge need. Once I started taking salt (again, I

had dropped it for 2-3 months) there were good positive changes and I started

holding on to the potassium again.

Since I take primarily only pure T3 for thyroid, the electrolytes need to be

supported.

even contain much, maybe 5 or 10 mg. But someone told me not to supplement with

potassium because it would have side effects. I took it several years ago, I

think 99 mg, which is the usual dose & I don't think it bothered me. In fact, I

think it might have helped with energy. Do you get any side effects from the

prescription potassium? How many mg is it? You said you had an experience of

losing potassium & sodium. How did you know that? I have recently started to

rife & want it to be as effective as possible. I thought all the minerals we

needed were in Real Salt, etc. so I have been drinking the salted water.

Perhaps I will either try the EmergenC or supplement with potassium. Thanks.
