Hi Jodie,

If you get an unsure answer that is not definitive, it could be that your body

views the supplement as a neutral, neither helpful or not helpful. Try

rephrasing how you ask the question and see if that helps get a more definite

answer. Sometimes our questioning can be ambiguous and it is hard for the body

to determine what you are asking. Try asking is this supplement in the highest

and best interest of my body? If you can't get a good answer that way, make

statements in percentages ie. (this supplement is 10% helpful to my health,

this supplement is 20% helpful to my health, this supplement is 30% helpful to

my health, etc.) Sometimes working in percentages will give you a clearer

picture of how helpful a supplement actually is.

Also, if you tap on your thymus gland below the thyroid on your upper chest for

awhile, that will sometimes wake up the immune system so you get a better

reading. Also, if you are trying to cut back on your supplements, your own

intention could be getting in the way. In other words, if you are getting tired

of spending the money or commiting the time and effort, you could inadvertently

be influencing your reading. Don't let your own intention get in the way, try

to stay very neutral in the outcome.

> Hi all, I have a question regarding the sway test. I am testing all my

supplements...and the dosage amount. About 98 percent of the time I get a

clear, YES or NO answer on whether it is in my body's best interest. On

occasion my body will sway very little forward or backwards and I can't get an

answer......is this because it is unsure? This has happened a few times when

testing......I am trying to taper off some of my supplements and I can't get a

read on a few whether to decrease or not. Any suggestions or input would be

great. Much thanks, Jodie L.

Dear Jodie,

When our ND gets an " almost " response, he makes sure that we might not need

something along with that supplement to make it effective.

One time my son had an " almost " response with CoQ10. The ND had him hold a

homeopathic that helps the body assimilate the CoQ10. The response was a very

strong " YES!! " . He actually tested for 1600 mg of CoQ10 which is MEGA dose for

CoQ10, but only if he had the homeopathic along with it. We have often found

this same type of response with natural antimicrobials. If we get an " almost " ,

we also hold some type of detox supplement and then we get a " YES " .

I would suggest to try and think of anything that you may need to take along

with your supps that might make it easier for you body to handle.

Hope this helps, Malinda

Hi Jodie,

You could try asking some different questions, such as:

Is this beneficial for me combined with my other supplements? You may already

be taking something that does the same thing, or something that interferes (like

zinc or calcium + iron, for example).

Does the harm of the ingredients outweigh the benefit? Sometimes reading the

small print on the label will give you some additional clues about this. I aim

for supplements that are at least 80% beneficial and no more than 5% harmful.

Is it in my best interest to take a break from this for __ days? weeks? months?

Herbal supplements lose their effectiveness if you don't take occasional

breaks--the frequency and duration of the break can vary.

Along this line, you may think of other questions to ask, as well.

allows. All good info....though! Thanks, JOdie L.

Hi Khaya,

Good point about asking if the supplement can be taken in combination with other

supplements. That is something I forgot to mention in my post and sometimes

certain supplements such as HCL should be taken away from Digestive Enzymes,

certain herbs should not be taken together such as Samento and Noni and mms

should be taken away from vitamin C. I often hold all of my supplements in my

left hand and ask if they can be taken together. If not, I have to do a little

detective work to determine which one should be taken away from the group. I

also ask if these supplements should be taken in the AM, in the PM, at lunch and

if they should be taken 1x a day, 2x a day, 3x a day and with food or without

food. To properly test things it takes a lot of questioning to get your

supplement protocol down to one that is best for your body.

Malinda....I called my practitioner today ....and basically what you have

explained to me is correct. I am in need of more detox with my remedies and

therefore most likely is affecting my reading...along with needing more water!

Thanks. Jodie L.
