Hi Gang,

I am taking a class called, " How to get that Book Down on Paper. " I know I

will write the book about 's recovery from Autism as a result of this

class. My teacher Gene Perret is so funny. But that wouldn't surprise you if

you saw his resume. Gene wrote for Phyllis Diller, Carol Burnett, Bill

Cosby, Tim Conway, just to name a few. He earned three Emmy Awards for his

work on The Carol Burnett Show. He also wrote for Bob Hope for thirty years,

serving the last 15 years as his head writer.

When Gene mentioned that he just finished a book about a guardian angel who

helped a comedian with his stand-up I thought I have to buy that for my

daughter's boyfriend who does standup comedy. Since I am basically always

looking for ways to save money and a cheap person I thought I would read it

before I gave it to the boyfriend. I had no idea how much it would help me

in my own life. It is truly inspirational.

My child recovered because of many of the same lessons I read in the book

Breakfasts with Archangel Shecky. In the beginning Archangel Shecky seems

like more of a con man than a guardian angel since he never pays for a meal

or a drink and writes his words of wisdom to the secret to accomplishing

something on paper napkins. But it doesn't take long to realize he truly

has the key to accomplish the things in life that are important to you. It

is funny, inspiring, and an easy read.

Looking back on how I helped recover, I realized I used many of these

ideas even though I had no idea I was doing this. I couldn't put it down

and I read it in an evening. I know it will help give you the strength to

continue with this uphill battle to help our children. The hardest thing we

will ever do. Here is the title and you can order it on Amazon:

Breakfasts with Archangel Shecky-by Gene Perret

Enjoy!!!!
