Guest guest
Thanks for sharing! I'd love to hear more stories about homeschooling... My son went to a montessori kindergarden and then we brought him home. This is our second year homeschooling and I really feel it is a good fit for my son. It allows a lot more freedom in our schedule to do extra things. He goes on field trips with other homeschooling kids. He also takes PE and piano. We found a wonderful Tae Kwon Do class for him to go to. We meet families with special needs children all the time that are homeschooling and always feel very welcome. I find that the children are much more tolerant and not as quick to tease. It is definitely a huge commitment and not for everyone but I do think it is a very viable option for some. We also have done HANDLE with great success and would recommend it to others. It really helped my sons sensory issues.
